Hi Gino, blessings my brother, In regard to your question in your post http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/mar2016/gino313-4.htm I have personally come to the conclusion that John in Revelation is borrowing from the imagery of the priestly ministry conducted on the day of Atonement. I have heard that when the high priest went into the holy of holies on Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement; the time it took to minister took about a half an hour and all kept silent as they listened to hear if the high priest yet remained alive in the presence of the Almighty. I think as it pertains to Revelation, it perhaps captures a time, maybe even linked to the day of Atonement, when Jesus will go in as our High Priest before His Father - it may not even relate to us as our atonement is paid for once and for all - but in the midst of opening the seals, there seems to be some somber reason when as High Priest, He will have to approach and minister before His Father, and while we have no worries that He will perform the service incorrectly because He is perfect and lives forever, in reverence of His service I think we will in awe remain silent along with all the holy angels as we watch the High Priest Jesus minister. That's my take anyway, I could be wrong. Grace and peace to all the doves, Remnant Navi
