"Did Jesus Himself speak of the Rapture?"

Dear Doves,

Did Jesus Himself speak of the Rapture?  I personally believe the answer is…YES!!!

I also believe that the order of events leading up to the Rapture is specifically laid out in Matthew 24:29-31 in the Words of Jesus Himself, wherein many scholars may have misinterpreted what Jesus spoke of here as being about the Second Coming instead. Here it is in whole:

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

If this is about the Rapture, which I believe strongly it is, let's break this down line by line as to what events we should watch for leading up to the Rapture:

- EVENT 1: Jacob's Trouble, the Tribulation in Israel, begins. This hasn't started yet, but perhaps this will start on the Ides of March, March 15, 2016.  Israel being attacked, perhaps by ISIS, would certainly be a clear sign that Jacob’s Trouble is here!

- EVENT 2: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days (in Israel?) the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light": There will be a half blood moon over Israel AND a "ring of fire" (annular) eclipse in both September 2016 and in February 2017. The February 2017 timeline works better as the stop of Jacob's Trouble because it would make sense that the “Peacemaker”, O, perhaps in his new role as the Secretary General of the UN, would love to be a hero in doing this. Fits in nicely.

- EVENT 3: "and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.": This could happen either as a type of 3 day warning to the Rapture or perhaps even just before the Rapture occurs as a final warning. Regardless, while it is unclear as to the true timing or sequence of this event, it is clear that this will happen!

- EVENT 4: "Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.": This is what we've all been waiting for. Seconds (or even minutes) before the Rapture, Jesus appears in the clouds to get us, His Bride, and signals to the rest of the World that time is about to be up!  This won’t be a “sign less event”, a sudden disappearance or a Secret Rapture as many watchers believe.  Instead, the World will see it and “the tribes of the earth will mourn” as they will instinctively know in their hearts that horrible times will follow those left behind.

- EVENT 5: "And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.":  Self-explanatory! If there is a better description in the Bible of exactly how the Rapture will occur, I haven't seen it! This Rapture description is hidden in plain sight and simply doesn't match what happens during His Second Coming at all!  However, it certainly matches EXACTLY what we know in our hearts will occur at the time of the Rapture.

CONCLUSION:  The Rapture is a HUGE event!  Jesus is finally coming for His Bride after 2000 years of waiting.  As such, would anyone here REALLY be that surprising that Jesus Himself would take the time to personally reference and speak of the Rapture when talking about “the signs of the end of age”?  After all, will the Rapture not be THE biggest of signs for those left behind that the Great Tribulation has begun?  I certainly think so!

*             *                  *                  *                    *                *

Brothers and sisters, are you ready to meet the Lord in the sky?  Repent and believe that grace is by faith alone and can ONLY be attained through Jesus Christ.  Get ready and leave the temptations of this world behind and ready yourself as a Bride.

Surely, time is almost up.
