"Re: Gino - "The sign of the Son of man in heaven""

Re: Gino - "The sign of the Son of man in heaven"

Mat 24:27           For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
--------------------------------
Mat 24:29     ¶     Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30           And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Blessings Gino.

For what it's worth, I believe I have seen, "the sign of the Son of Man in heaven," as a child in a dream. I was probably between the ages of seven and nine years old, and at that time I was truly ignorant of anything biblical or religious. For about a weeks time, each morning I would wake up and remember the same two totally different and strange dreams. One was short and one was long. I finally tried to explain the long dream to my older brother. I pointed outside the window to a telephone pole and told him that there was only one crossbar in my dream and a man was in front "flying it." My brother told me that, "I was wrong." That I saw a man on the pole and his name was Jesus. My older brother had some Catholic exposure. That of course made me very angry. "It was my dream, and I knew what I saw." A few months later I had experienced the same thing I saw in the shorter dream. That was extremely shocking for a young kid. Therefore, I had a strong feeling that I would actually be experiencing some time in my life a man flying a telephone pole. I became a Christian in 1970 around the age of 22. A couple years later the Lord brought this dream back to me a couple times, and over the decades the Lord has been opening up my understanding. Here's a portion of my dream related to your questions:

I was alone walking in a dried up riverbed. I had traveled in this area before, but everything had been devastated. I knew it had once been a forest and to my left (West) were barren mountains. In this region where there once was a lush forest, there wasn't a single sign of a tree or vegetation. I knew that on my left was a road that paralleled this river, but I felt that I would be safer walking in the riverbed to my destination. High in the sky, a little behind me and to my right (East), there was a brown "speck" in the sky. Somehow, I knew what that "speck," was, but it didn't seem to affect me. Toward the end of my trek, and just prior to entering a very small rural town, I encountered an extremely large tree trunk that was burnt and cinched. There were other people around that trunk that were amazed at its destruction. I also marveled at such destruction, knowing that in the past I was very familiar with this tree, and how great it once was. I then proceeded up the road to a small town that was only three or four blocks long. It was basically deserted and I was familiar with this town, knowing that I had been there before. Toward the end of the road on the right there was a man standing on the porch. I told the man that I had a sleeping bag, and asked if I could sleep in his house that night. He said that I could, but that actually I could choose any building I wanted, because everybody had left. I would occasionally look up to the sky and see the brown "speck" continually coming closer. I departed and continued up the road where it forked. I went to my left for a short distance and walked through somebodies backyard between two houses, toward a cul-de-sac. People on this cul-de-sac were hurriedly packing their vehicles and leaving. I stopped one man between the houses, and pointed to the speck in the sky. I said, "Do you know what that is? "In the dream, I wasn't asking him as if I didn't know the answer. I was asking as one with full understanding and willing to explain this phenomena. The man stated, "There is little time, I have to get out of here." My response was, "Where can you go?" Primarily indicating that there was nowhere to hide. The man looked at me rather shocked and appeared to realize that his escape was hopeless. He jumped in the car with his family, and left me in a now empty cul-de-sac.

I then looked over my shoulder over the houses, and I could finally recognize that speck. It slowly flew in front of me about house top level heading slightly northwest. Today I would identify it as a large brown cross, instead of a telephone pole. Today I would describe the rest of this "speck," in the same manner as I did as a young child. There was a man flying it in a seated position. He was behind something similar to a desk or table (his body exposed from about the waist up). He was wearing white. And as he slowly passed me, he looked down on me and smiled. I know that he looked at me and smiled, and he was pleased with me. But it would be impossible to describe his face, except to say that it was pure light. He slowed down but never stopped. He continued flying west and went over the house tops, out of my sight. I was left alone in the middle of the cul-de-sac. My feeling at the time in the dream was, " it's over!" I might as well go home.

I present this portion of my childhood dream for discernment of other believers.

Rev 6:12     ¶     And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
 Rev 6:13           And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
Rev 6:14           And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
Rev 6:15           And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
