What if, when he is cast out of heaven in Revelation 12:9, he does that?

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

What if instead of crash landing on the earth, he comes down standing upright?
What if he comes down, shining like lightning, upon the Mount of Olives?
Could he get some people to think that he is Christ returning?
That is too frightening for me to think about too long.
