The issue of tithing is not whether I should give 10 percent of  "my money."
It is a matter of -- surrendering my whole life to God.
If God has all of my heart, soul, body and spirit - He is in control.
All that I am  - - all that I am given belong to Him - we are stewards of God's blessings.
We give as God leads and directs us to by His Holy Spirit - discernment is needed here.
To obey Him and serve His purposes is our primary duty.
If we understand this principle we will  joyfully give all (100%) - time, money, labor, our very lives -  out of love for God and our neighbor.
Jesus came that we might have" life" and that more abundant - he is the fulfillment of the law and the prophets.  He is our Sabbath  and our rest from the works of the flesh.
Have you entered into "His rest" and ceased from your own works?
