Jesus said that we are bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. If the wrath of the tribulation is poured out on the church, Jesus will be pouring out wrath on his OWN BODY.  He already took the Father's wrath on sin in his own body on the cross!  Also, remember when Paul was given a vision on the road to Damascus? Jesus asked Paul why he was persecuting HIM. That's when Paul asked him who he was and he said that he was Jesus, whom he was persecuting!  Paul wasn't literally persecuting Jesus! Jesus had already ascended back into heaven! What was Paul doing? He was persecuting CHRISTIANS; having them thrown into prison - put to death! But Jesus sees that persecution as persecuting HIM simply BECAUSE we are bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh! What WE feel, JESUS feels. He is NOT going to pour out his wrath on his own body. As long as we are in this world, we may have to face the world's wrath (via the devil), but it is GOD'S WRATH that is poured out during the time of Jacob's Trouble!!!
