"Post 1"

Hello, John and Doves,
Consider this, if you will:
The field is the universe and the pearl of great price is the Earth, the sight of which may be obscured by your thumb at arm's length if you are standing on the Moon.
This is why it is written,
'...for He did not come into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.' John 3:17
Now, perhaps not everyone will be saved, because of grievous unconfessed sin and/or willful unbelief.
So then, we can better understand God's point of view when He says,
'As I live, says the LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather in that he repent and live.' --from Ezekiel, chapter 33.
We read something like that in Isaiah:
'The arm of the LORD is not shortened that He cannot save, nor is His ear made dull that He cannot hear, but your sins have separated you from Him.' Isaiah 59:1.
What does this mean? It is written,
'...the plans I have for you are for a future and a hope.' Jeremiah 29:11.
~Blessings,
