"Reply to Gino.........The Whole House of Israel.........part 2"

Gino,

After responding to your questions in part 1 I realized that I had neglected to share with you what the new testament also has to say on God the Father's saving of......... the whole house of Israel.

Not only does Ezekiel 37 tell us that the whole house of Israel will be resurrected and saved but we also find it in Roman's 11:25-36. Here it clearly states in verse 26 that .......all Israel will be saved. (dead and alive)

When does this happen? verse 25........when the predetermined number of Gentiles has been reached. Meaning that a predetermined number of Gentiles will accept Jesus then this great resurrection of the dead in Christ, the 144,000 and the whole house of Israel / Jacob will happen.

It says in verse 26 that ......."The Deliverer (God the Father) will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness (those unsavory ones you referred to Gino will be transformed) from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins."

It then states in verse 28....to paraphrase......that this makes no sense that these people (the ones you spoke of Gino) who would be enemies of the gospel....... would be yet beloved and saved. It says that they will be saved because of the covenant and for the sake of the fathers. And that the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.

To again paraphrase the next verses 30-36 it pretty much says that whereas this whole "save all Israel" scenario may not make much sense to us that it makes perfect sense to God and we would do well not to question it. Please read verses 28-36 for your own enlightenment.

It appears to me that it's one of the greatest love stories ever told.

Which is the greater love story.......what Jesus did for His believers on the cross or what God the Father will do when He resurrects, saves and blows His Spirit into all of His chosen covenant people? That' a great question to ponder on. I know who saved me so I am biased for Jesus being the greatest love story. But if my name was Judas (with his rap sheet) and was still saved as per Romans 11 and Ezekiel 37 then I would surely say that the greatest love story was manifested by God the Father.

It appears that at some point He through His love and His covenant is going to make the whole house of Israel like a shiny new penny again with a fresh start. That's a huge love story and a huge WOW factor !!!!

Hope this post adds to the clarification of your questions Gino..........John B
