"Netanyahu Speech Quoting Deuteronomy 31:6a"

Netanyahu Speech Quoting Deuteronomy 31:6a

I wonder what prophetic implications Netanyahu's speech will hold as we approach the end of the Church Age and the Time of Jacob's Trouble.

I studied Deuteronomy 31 today after Netanyahu's speech and noted that Moses was commanded to write it as a song for the children of Israel to be read in the Sabbath Year at the Festival of Tabernacles.   We are in Hebrew Year 5775, a Sabbath year, unto the Lord God of Israel.

Deuteronomy 31 is a warning to Israel about abandoning Yahweh, God's covenant name to Israel.  Deuteronomy 31 declares that Israel rise up and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers in the land....they will forsake God and break His covenant.

The verses teach that a time would come upon Israel...."in that day", God declares, He will forsake them and hide His face from them and they shall be devoured and many evils and troubles will befall them. Verse 17.

Interestingly, this "in that day" is most likely the time from 70 A.D. until 1947/48 when He re-gathered Israel into the land.  Verse 29 speaks the latter days, meaning most likely the time from the "cutting off" of Messiah until the Time of Jacob's Trouble, our day.  We understand the latter days from Peter in Acts 2:17.   Note also, the "17" verse numbers in Deuteronomy and Acts.  17 is associated with the victory of the Messiah's resurrection and God's salvation.  God's anger was kindled against Israel "in that day" when Israel rejected Messiah Jesus.

Netanyahu's quote of Deuteronomy 31:6 only addressed the first segment of the verse about being strong and of good courage, fearing not [the enemy].  By omitting God from the quote, this is telling of whom Israel is trusting for protection assistance against Iran/Persia/Elam.    Israel is trusting in itself and America.  God is forsaken in the speech. This is the very warning of Deuteronomy 31 !

Netanyahu omitted the latter portion of verse 6 where Moses commanded Israel to trust God first.  He omitted "for the Lord thy God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.   God desires belief and faith from Israel.

Sadly, Israel will not learn to rely on God until the Time of Jacob's Trouble.  As verse 17 proclaims, "so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us ?"    Yes, Israel, the Lord your God is against you, until you repent and receive the Lord Jesus as your Messiah and Savior.    However, the remnant elect shall be saved during the time of trouble.

The end of days is rapidly approaching.  It is likely that the Time of Jacobs Trouble will arrive in Hebrew Year 5777/2017.   The Lord God will revive up the remnant of Israel after the second day.  Hosea 6:1.  That is after 2,000 years.   The Lord God will probably revive Israel's remnant in the 17th Year of the 2nd Day.  God is not trying to hide his plans from the children of light. 1Thess 5:4.  God hides it for us.   He wants us to search out the Scriptures.   Daniel controls the numbers and we might understand that God will likely move in the 70th prophetic year from 1948 which is 2017.  (A prophetic year (Daniel) is 360 days so 69 solar years is 70 prophetic years.

Jesus was raised on Nissan 17.  Noah's ark was lifted up on Heshvan 17.  Noah's ark rested on Nissan 17.   On Nissan 17 the Hebrews crossed the Red Sea.     God saves on 17's !   He is coming quickly beloved !
