Your letter about your two rapture theories was intriguing, I have long thought that God would use the resurrection of the Dead in this manner!! Exciting stuff! The new series on ABC really got my attention! Nothing like this ever before......is right!

1 Thesolonians  4:16 and 17 was what started my thought process on this path years ago( I had not ever read anyone's theory before).     

16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Depending on the translation, look at the transition between vs 16 and 17!! AFTER THAT! Some say and then or just THEN. Suggests to me a break, of sorts, in the sequence of events.

Perhaps a time break, short, where the Dead in Christ rise, and we see a repeat of what happened when Christ died!

I know the "popular theory" about how the AC will explain away the disappearance of millions of people is the Alien thing. Not discounting that, but I think we might see something different. Why has Hollywood and pop culture been saturating this generation, us, with all things Zombie?? Hmmmm..... Perhaps for this very event! If we see a resurrection situation and the Dead in Christ are used to witness to the rest of the world for a time, what better way to explain why so many are missing????!!! You have millions of open graves with missing bodies, how easy is it to say that they were infected with something not known and that each of them, and ALL THEY CAME INTO CONTACT WITH had to be destroyed???? No viewing of the "dead" that were "killed" by the zombie attacks, because of the contagion, they would have to be "burned" immediately, along with the resurrected "zombies"!! Convenient way to explain missing millions and the open graves! How would you be able to explain the open graves if we all disappeared in an alien scenario?  

I know, this sounds crazy, but it would be accepted by this current culture......EASILY!

Exciting times, right??

Why would God use this to witness? Think about your own family. Many of us have a "fence sitter" or two in our families. How quickly would they fall off that fence if a beloved family member was to "return from the dead" with eye-witness, first-hand knowledge of heaven, Jesus, and our beloved God? Very quickly!
