Daniel 12:7  “And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by him that lives for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

 

Daniel 7:25   “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

 

Genesis 1:14-20  “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”   

 

MY EXPLANATIONS:

          These lights were the Sun, Moon, Planets and Stars in the Constellations.  They give us our calendar and clock.  They also give us timelines.  The time, times and the dividing of time or half-time is just multiplying a particular time and also dividing it by a particular number.  A moed is an appointed time established by God.

          The times and laws of the heavens are ordered by God.  If they got out of order the Universe would collapse. Just like when the flywheel breaks in a windup watch and stops running.  When I was eight I wound my Mickey Mouse watch up too tight and attempted to repair.  Well, it didn’t work.

          So the Antichrist will think to change the times and the laws of time.  He already has and that is why we can’t figure out where we are in time.  God gave mankind 6,000 years of time. [Gen 6:3] Are we there, yet ?  There is a sign in the Heavens this very year that I believe indicates that we have arrived; but for the day and hour, I know not, though I spent time guessing. God didn’t tell when he began his countdown.
