"Healthy and Happy"

First Time writing to the Doves, but a long time reader. My name is Jesse Fields and i'm 24 years old. Right after I graduated high school I developed a seizure disability that was not able to be controlled by medicine. I had many bad emotional reactions to the many different medicines I took during a 5 year time frame. During that time I cried out to Jesus constantly for healing and restoration to my body. I was eventually approved for disability and surgery. I had the surgery and for about a year I didn't have seizures of any kind and thought I was healed. I believed God had healed me through that surgery, but shortly after my year long recovery I started to have seizures again(not to the same extent). I was having only epileptic seizures at night, but having multiple petit-mal seizures during the day, which was a ongoing theme for about a year. A second surgery was always option for me even before my first surgery if the surgery didn't stop the seizures. So that was always in the back of my head until recently when I met with my neurologist on the 19th of February. Which he said after reading the EEG I had a month prior revealed to him that now my seizures are generalized(which means there is no specific location they start from) which he told me that surgery is not an option. He offered me medicine to try and control them which I rejected because I didn't want it to be controlled, I wanted them gone. I was brought to the end of myself that day and realized that if I ever want to be delivered from these seizures that I need to take every drop of trust I have and put it all on Jesus, not some trust on doctors and some trust in Jesus, but all my trust in him. So I did and started to thank Jesus from my seizures and surgery and for my healing. Thanking Jesus prior to receiving is showing true trust in him. I realized that I have grown to love and adore Jesus more since I started having seizures(I know Jesus didn't give or make these happen, I was born with a physical defect in my brain). I believe Jesus used these seizures to bring me closer to him and reveal many things to me during that time. Well glory to his name, because I have not had any seizures of any kind since that day when I truly put all my trust in him. For me to say I have been seizure free for even one day would be a miracle after not going more than one day without having some kind of seizure for the 5 years prior. Jesus is my Lord, my refuge, my protector, my tower of strength and Lover of my Soul. He has healed me from these seizures because of his grace, and Jesus kept me even in my worse times in perfect peace and perfect joy. When I came to understand that Jesus Loves me unconditionally it gave me surreal peace and comfort. Wait for the blessing because it will come, just put all your trust in Jesus and ask for it.
