"Ararat  reversing the curse"

Ararat  reversing the curse

Strong’s H0780 is Ararat, the resting place of the ark of Noah.  The literal translation of which is listed as:  “Ararat = "the curse reversed: precipitation of curse"”

Written this way, infers that both aspects occur at the same time; a curse is reversed while another precipitates.  A very interesting concept that parallels the ideas of redemption of the faithful while judgment falls on the world.  The fall of man was a kind of curse.  Those who “take on incorruption” would have the curse reversed.

I’m sure others have noticed this, but I do not recall reading it here.  This is found in Gen 8:4

Also, notable are the two words on either side of H0780 in the Strong’s listing.  H 0779 is “arar”,  meaning to curse.  H0781 is “aras”, meaning to betroth as in a wedding engagement.  I find this fascinating on a few levels. … some I will leave to your imagination.

Remember that the flood was inspired by both the behavior of man and also the increasing corruption of the flesh.  Noah was the only man “perfect in his generations.”  The influence of the corrupted flesh (DNA) was reduced to only the portion carried by the wives, who were not of Noah’s line, we presume.  For the curse to be “reversed” we would have to be transformed.

Here’s to the literal fulfillment of the ark resting at “the curse reversed.”

Thank you Jesus
