Overview of the 21 Judgments

The 21 judgments in the Book of Revelation are categorized into three distinct series: seven seal judgments, seven trumpet judgments, and seven bowl judgments. Each series represents a progression of catastrophic events that unfold during the end times.

Seven Seal Judgments

1 White Horse: The rise of the Antichrist

2 Red Horse: War and anarchy

3 Black Horse: Economic collapse and famine

4 Pale Green Horse: Death and widespread mortality

5 Martyrs' prayers for justice

6 Cosmic disturbances: sun, moon, and stars affected

7 Great earthquake and silence in heaven

Seven Trumpet Judgments

1 Hail and fire: One-third of vegetation burned

2 A great mountain thrown into the sea: One-third of the sea turns to blood

3 A star falls into fresh water: One-third of rivers poisoned

4 One-third of the sun, moon, and stars dimmed

5 Demonic invasion released from the abyss

6 One-third of mankind killed in war

7 Great earthquake and hailstorm; temple in heaven opened

Seven Bowl Judgments

1 Malignant sores on those with the mark of the beast

2 Sea turned to blood; all sea life dies

3 Fresh waters turned to blood

4 Intense heat from the sun scorching people

5 Darkness over the kingdom of the beast

6 Armies gather for battle in the holy land

7 Great earthquake; cities fall and topography changes

These judgments illustrate the severity of the events that will occur during the Tribulation period, emphasizing themes of divine justice and the ultimate triumph of good over evil.
