I have been wondering, could this be one of the possible explanations, concerning a couple of the main characters in Revelation 12 and 13?

Revelation 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Looking at this from the celestial/terrestrial interface, the one in chapter 12, heads up a particular celestial rulership, and is shown embodying it.

The one in chapter 13 heads up a particular terrestrial rulership, and is shown embodying it.

The celestial rulership appears to have 7 principalities under the headship of the devil, shown by their 7 crowns.

The terrestrial rulership appears to have 10 kings under the the headship of the antichrist, shown by their 10 crowns (clearly different from the 7 crowns).

So that this celestial/terrestrial interface appears to be the false kingdom, the kingdom of the beast;

to rule for a short time before Jesus returns and establishes his kingdom, which will be a godly, heavenly/earthly interface for a thousand years.

Both have 7 heads and 10 horns, so could the interface be that?

The 7 principalities would have the spiritual authority and influence over the 10 terrestrial kings?

Shown by the 7 & 10 both on the dragon, but showing the 7 has having the crowns in the celestial.

And the 10 kings are spiritually under the 7 principalities?

Shown by the 7 & 10 both on the chapter 13 beast, but showing the 10 has having the crowns in the terrestrial.

But that the 7 & 10 are shown on both, shows that they are far more than simply "joined at the hip".

It is like an ungodly counterfeit of the connection of the Father and the Son, in the upcoming 1,000 year kingdom.

Does this seem too far off the beaten path?
