"Almighty God's Name IS in the Book of Esther!  Must See!"

Hi John and Doves - This is an incredible study by Shervin Youssefian.  What an amazing revelation. Not to be missed.

The Hidden Secrets in the Book of Esther That Most People MISS!

For 2,500 years, people have read the Book of Esther and been told the same thing:

“It’s the ONLY BOOK in the Bible where God is never mentioned.”

Not once.

Not in passing.

Not in a prayer. Not in a vow. Not in a song.

Some Jewish rabbis in the early centuries even debated whether Esther should be in the Bible at all — because the name of God is nowhere to be found.

But here’s the part nobody tells you…

What if God’s name IS there?

What if it’s stitched into the Hebrew text in ways your English translation could NEVER show you?

What if the book that “never mentions God” is actually one of the most carefully encrypted love letters He ever wrote to His people?

Once you see what’s hidden in these pages, you will NEVER read Esther the same way again!

The Book That “Doesn’t Mention God”

Open any commentary on Esther and you will see the same line repeated over and over:

“Esther is the only book of the Bible where the name of God is not mentioned.”

And on the surface — it’s true.

You can read the whole book in English. Ten chapters. 167 verses. You will not find “the LORD.” You will not find “God.” You will not find “Yahweh.”

It’s not there.

And honestly, this troubled believers for centuries. How could a book inspired by the very breath of God… never name God?

A book about His chosen people.

A book about their deliverance.

A book read every single year at the festival of Purim.

And yet — silence?

It feels strange, doesn’t it?

But here’s what we have to remember:

The Bible is not a careless book.

EVERY WORD is intentional.

EVERY SILENCE is intentional.

And in Esther… the silence itself is the message.

The Key Is in the Name of the Book

Watch this. Let me show you the first crack in the door.

The book is called Esther.

In Hebrew? אֶסְתֵּר — Ester.

And do you know what that name means?

“HIDDEN”

The root of her name (סָתַר, sathar) literally means to hide, to conceal, to keep secret.

Wait — what?

The book where God is “never mentioned”… is literally called The Book of Hidden?

Coincidence? Not even close.

This is God doing what God ALWAYS does:

He’s never absent. Sometimes, He is just hidden.

The whole Book of Esther is a riddle. And the title is the answer.

“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.” (Proverbs 25:2)

Search out what God has concealed.

That’s not a suggestion. That’s an invitation. God wants us to look closer and to dig!

He wants us to stop reading the Bible like a newspaper… and start reading it like a treasure map.

So let’s start digging

The Name of God Is Hidden — FOUR TIMES!

In ancient Hebrew manuscripts — long before printing presses — scribes did something fascinating.

When something mattered, they would write certain letters LARGER than the rest.

BIGGER.

BOLDER.

A visual marker that said: Don’t miss this!

And in the Book of Esther — exactly four times — Hebrew scribes enlarged the following:

Specific letters across four consecutive words.

Why?

Because in those four moments — and only in those four moments — the first or last letters of four consecutive words spell out the Tetragrammaton:

יהוה — YHWH.

Yes - the personal name of God!

The name so holy that Jewish people refuse to even pronounce it.

The name revealed to Moses at the burning bush.

And that very name is HIDDEN in the book whose very title means HIDDEN.

Watch this! It’s truly AMAZING!

Hidden Acrostic #1 — When the Queen Falls (Esther 1:20)

The king’s advisors are scrambling.

Queen Vashti has just refused the king. The whole empire is unraveling over a wife who would not come when called.

Their proposal is to remove Queen Vashti:

“…all the women will give honor to their husbands.” (Esther 1:20)

In Hebrew:

הִיא וְכָל הַנָּשִׁים יִתְּנוּ (Hee v’chol hanashim yit’nu)

The FIRST letter of each word — read backward — spells:

ה · ו · ה · י

HWHY — YHWH spelled in reverse.

The very moment the throne is about to open up for Esther… God’s name appears in the background, backward!

Why backward?

Because His judgment is operating. Vashti is being removed. The pieces are being arranged.

When God’s name appears backward — He is REVERSING things.

Hidden Acrostic #2 — When Esther Invites the King (Esther 5:4)

Now watch this.

Esther has just risked her life. She walked into the throne room uninvited. She could have been killed.

But the king extended his scepter.

And she opens her mouth and says:

“Let the king and Haman come today to the banquet I have prepared.” (Esther 5:4)

In Hebrew: יָבוֹא הַמֶּלֶךְ וְהָמָן הַיּוֹם (Yavo hamelech v’Haman hayom)

The FIRST letter of each word — read forward — spells:

י · ה · ו · ה

YHWH. Forward.

Right here, in Esther’s invitation and in the very sentence that begins the unraveling of Haman… God signs His name.

This time, FORWARD.

Because He’s about to DELIVER.

Hidden Acrostic #3 — When Haman Plots Mordecai’s Death (Esther 5:13)

Haman is now bragging to his family.

He has wealth. And favor. And the king’s ear.

But that’s never enough, is it? Because Mordecai still won’t bow.

He says:

“Yet all this is worth nothing to me as long as I see Mordecai the Jew.” (Esther 5:13)

In Hebrew: זֶה אֵינֶנּוּ שֹׁוֶה לִי (Zeh einenu shoveh li)

The LAST letter of each word — read backward — spells:

ה · ו · ה · י

HWHY — YHWH backward again.

The very moment Haman commits in his heart to destroy God’s people…

God’s name appears.

Backward.

He’s already plotting Haman’s reversal.

The man planning the murder doesn’t know he just inscribed God’s signature on his own death warrant

Hidden Acrostic #4 — When Haman’s Downfall Begins (Esther 7:7)

The banquet is over and Esther has spoken.

The king storms out in fury. Haman is left alone — and he finally sees what’s coming!

“…for he saw that evil had been determined against him.” (Esther 7:7)

In Hebrew: כִּי כָלְתָה אֵלָיו הָרָעָה (Ki chaltah elav hara’ah)

The LAST letter of each word — read forward — spells:

י · ה · ו · ה

YHWH. Forward.

The moment Haman realizes he is finished — God’s name appears.

Forward.

Because deliverance has arrived.

The Pattern Will BLOW Your Mind

God’s design is so breathtaking!

TWO times forward.

TWO times backward.

YHWH (forward) — when God is delivering.

HWHY (backward) — when God is judging.

TWO forward, TWO backward. Perfectly balanced. Perfectly placed.

Three of them — Esther 1:20, 5:4, and 5:13 — appear at the turning points of the story.

The fourth — Esther 7:7 — appears at the climax.

And this was the book that “never mentions God”…

In reality, it has His name signed four times at every major hinge in the plot…

Using a different letter each time…in a different direction each time… and in a perfectly symmetrical pattern.

This is not coincidence. This is choreography

And Esther Is Just Getting Started!

I know what you’re thinking.

“Okay, four hidden acrostics is incredible. That’s already enough.”

Oh, my friend, we’re just getting warmed up.

Because the hidden God in Esther doesn’t stop at four letters in four verses.

He’s hidden in the characters.

He’s hidden in the plot.

He’s hidden in the lineage.

He’s hidden in the details.

BUCKLE UP!
