The Great American Solar Eclipse - 2017 -  and connections to Israel and End Time Signs - Joel 2:31 - Salem - Time - #33 - 

The Great American Solar Eclipse was on August 21st, 2017. The path of totality crossed the entire United States from the West Coast to the East Coast. 

There were a number of interesting things about that eclipse. 

The path of totality first crossed the US in the state of Oregon, the 33rd state. If you google search..”what is the 33rd state”, you will find Oregon. Then the path of totality crossed all of the US and ended in South Carolina at the 33rd parallel. It occurred on the 233rd day of the year. And it was 99 years (33 x 3) after the last Solar eclipse that crossed all of the US. And why was 33 important? Maybe because it just so happened to be 33 days from another great sign that would appear in the sky 33 days later on Sept 23rd, 2017. 

The first town the eclipse crossed was Salem, Oregon. Salem was named after Jerusalem. And then it proceeded to cross seven different towns names Salem. See - blog.Christify.com.

It crossed “Salem” in Oregon, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Wyoming, Idaho, South Carolina - All of those Salems right along the very path of totality…seven of them…

And the timing of the path of totality touching Salem, Oregon was very near the time of the sun setting in Jerusalem, Israel. 

It just seems fair to say God may be pointing to the USA / Israel connection in some way. Jerusalem was originally called “Salem” in the days of Melchizedek, Genesis 14:18.

Then was another eclipse April 8th, 2024.

Gary writing for unsealed.org also noted that, “the exact point where the two eclipses cross is Salem Road in Makanda, Illinois. What are the chances of that?”

The two eclipses crossed at a point called, “The Little Egypt”. 

God very well may be signaling that the “Time of Jacob’s trouble” is at hand, Jeremiah 30:7. This is also believed to be the 7 year tribulation period known also as the “70th week of Daniel”, Daniel 9:24-27. It is the hope and belief of many in the Body of Christ that the Rapture will occur before that 70th week of Daniel starts. That is the pre-trib position.
