What is the Biblical definition of a Watchman?
Ezekiel 33 gives us the Biblical definition. First, from the last few verses of the previous chapter, we read such phrases as, "with all their graves around it." "Slain by the sword" "who are fallen" "Who have gone down to hell" "the terror of the mighty in the land of the living" "And with those who go down to the Pit" "Slain by the sword, Says the Lord God" "For I have caused My terror in the land of the living" "With those slain by the sword, says the Lord God".
These above phrases, just before Ezekiel 33, certainly sound like what the world will be like, as the Sudden Nuclear Destruction of 1st Thessalonians 5 is taking place, and the Sudden Escape, as in the Days of Noah, and in the days of Lot, of the pre-Tribulation Rapture is also taking place. Just like the Lord is calling thousands upon thousands of people today to be WATCHMEN, so too, was He calling people to be WATCHEN in Ezekiel's day. I strongly believe that these same words that God spoke in Ezekiel 33, He is also speaking to us today.
Ezekiel 33 reads,
"Again the word of the Lord came to me saying, Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: 'When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, WHEN HE SEES THE SWORD COMING UPON THE LAND, IF HE BLOWS THE TRUMPET AND WARNS THE PEOPLE, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet therefore, and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning, will save his life. BUT IF THE WATCHMAN SEES THE SWORD COMING AND DOES NOT BLOW THE TRUMPET, AND THE PEOPLE ARE NOT WARNED, AND THE SWORD COMES AND TAKES ANY PERSON FROM AMONG THEM, HE IS TAKEN AWAY IN HIS INIQUITY; BUT HIS BLOOD I WILL REQUIRE AT THE WATCHMAN'S HAND.' "So you, son of man: I HAVE MADE YOU A WATCHMAN...; you shall hear a word from my mouth, AND WARN THEM FOR ME."
I believe that every word above, from Ezekiel 32 and 33, applies to us, as WATCHMEN, today. Yes, if you a regular reader of Five Doves, then God is calling YOU to be a WATCHMAN, AND TO WARN THE PEOPLE. Do you want their blood on your hands? If you were the one headed for nuclear sudden destruction and/or hell, or the Mark of the Beast System with the Antichrist, would you not want a WARNING? Just like Heaven is for eternity, Hell is also for eternity. God is not giving us an option. God is giving us mandatory instructions, which are, in Ezekiel 33:7, to WARN THEM FOR ME."
In Ezekiel 32, in the final verses, it sounds just like what is going to happen to all of the millions and millions of people who are not spiritually ready, at the time of the Rapture/ Sudden Nuclear Destruction. In Ezekiel 33, it says, "When you see the sword (this is the GREAT SWORD OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS of Revelation 6:4), WARN THEM FOR ME." This is a direct command from our Lord. As watchmen, we are commanded to WARN THE PEOPLE.
So many of us watchmen have been warning people for so very many years, we no longer feel like our warnings are doing any good. Despite the many pre-mature Rapture/Sudden Destruction warnings that have been given by so many of us watchmen, when the REAL WARNING comes along, such as the year 2025, do we want to miss it, or ignore it? God is not giving that option to us. God commands us, as faithful watchmen and women, to WARN THE PEOPLE FOR ME.
For a minute, let's examine the watchmen, as selected by the people of Israel. They would go out at night, to look for signs that the enemy, or possible Sudden Destruction, appeared about to take place. When they thought they had seen, or heard, enough signs that the enemy was almost upon them, they would sound the trumpet loudly, awakening all of the people, to give them WARNING. Many times it was a false alarm. The people would grumble and go back to sleep. The more times it would happen, the more they would complain, or begin to ignore the watchmen's warnings. Many times, I imagine the enemy was bluffing, knowing the people were getting more and more upset at being awoken from their slumber in the middle of the night, for what they considered no reason. But what were the watchmen supposed to do? Stop warning??? God forbid! For if they ignored giving the REAL WARNING, all of their people might be destroyed. They felt they had no choice but to continue to blow the trumpet, when they found enough evidence that appeared to be legitimate to them.
That is what you and I, as true Biblical watchmen, are being asked to do. KEEP WARNING THE PEOPLE! We do not want to miss the real and true WARNING, and we have EVERY reason to believe that 2025 is the year!!! We have EVERY reason to believe that we are about to enter a 90-day period when this world is going to experience the Rapture and Sudden Nuclear Destruction. Even more so (read my other post today and the posts from June 8th and June 15th), we need to WARN people before July 22--23rd.
Next week, it is my intention to locate my post of several years ago, entitled "What to Do if you are Left Behind (at the Rapture)". This was also the title of my most popular tract ever. I wrote over 55 Bible Prophecy tracts, with over 9 and one-half million in circulation. But this tract was, by far, my most popular tract. I am estimating that there was probably over 3 million of this tract sent out to people, and many more emails with the same title and content. I plan on sending this email to Five Doves next week. This may be the best ever of my emails to WARN people with. But my posts of June 8th and June 15th also would be good to send to your mailing lists. Several others on Five Doves also have good WARNING posts that would be good to use. So, by being a regular reader of Five Doves, you have now become a Watchman, and are compelled, by God, to WARN THE PEOPLE FOR ME!!! IT IS TIME TO BLOW THE TRUMPET!!! Do not wait for the Middle East War to further intensify and develop into World War 3 and then the Sudden Nuclear Destruction, that is simultaneous with our pre-Tribulation Rapture. THE HOUR IS LATE! IT IS VERY, VERY, VERY LATE!!!
