Greg, I have often wondered about this too! Everyone has always looked at 1948 as the "Fig Tree Generation," but what if it was the 1967 Six Day War when Israel got their capital back? After all, they "sprouted" FOUR fig leaves as a result of that war! They got Gaza, The Golan Heights, The Sinai and Jerusalem! I have often wondered if the focus on 1948 was not what Jesus was talking about, but rather about 1967 instead! Now, if we just knew EXACTLY what God considers a "generation"!
