Why it is important to know the day of the rapture. Part 4
Hello John and Doves,
Dear brothers and sisters, in this last time, God the Father has revealed to us from the Scriptures the day on which He prepared the wedding of His Son, the Lord Jesus, with the church. However, we still hear from all sides that it is not necessary to know the day, it is important to be ready for the rapture and eagerly await it. Why should we be concerned with the day of the rapture, and that God Himself has revealed this day, what does it matter? I am waiting, so I do not need to know. Everyone repeats it all over the world. This attitude, which is outside the Scriptures, has entered the heart of the bride so strongly that it is very difficult to change it. It is similar to claiming that the Feast of Weeks is also the Feast of Pentecost, which contradicts the teachings of the Bible.
Let us look at the stories of the three servants of God who experienced the rapture and the disciples waiting for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. All of these needed to know the day when the event would happen. If Noah had not been told by God about the day of the flood and had not prepared for it, not only he and his family would have perished in the waters, but also all the animals on earth. Gen 7:1-4 1 Then the Lord said to Noah, Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you alone are righteous before me in this generation. 2 Take with you seven pairs of every clean animal, a male and its mate, and seven pairs of every animal that is not clean, a male and its mate. 3 And seven pairs of every bird of the air, male and female, to keep their offspring alive on the face of the whole earth. 4 For in seven days I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights; and I will wipe from the face of the ground every living thing that I have made.
If Lot had not been told by the angels about the day of destruction, he would have perished along with Sodom. Gen 19:12,13 12 Then the men said to Lot, Who else do you have here? Your sons-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and anyone else you have in the city, bring them out of this place! 13 For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against it has become great before the Lord; therefore the Lord has sent us to destroy it.
God revealed to Elijah the day he would be taken up to heaven. We know from the Scriptures that he eagerly awaited his rapture that day because he had a living faith that it would happen. 2 Kings 2:5,9,10 5 The sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and asked him, Do you know that the Lord will take your master away from you today? He replied, I know it too; be silent! 9 And it came to pass, as they were going along, that Elijah said to Elisha, Ask what I shall do for you before I am taken from you. Elisha said, Let a double portion of your spirit be upon me. 10 And Elijah said, You have asked a hard thing. If you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if you do not see me, it shall not be so.
Now let us look at Pentecost, the day of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The disciples were sent by Jesus after His ascension to Jerusalem. According to the direct instruction of the Lord Jesus, they were required to spend at least those 50 days in Jerusalem. It is written that they spent most of their time in the temple, praying and praising God. Luke 24:49, 52, 53 And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but tarry ye in the city, until ye be endued with power from on high. And when they had worshipped him, they returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple, praising God, and blessing him. So the disciples were always in the temple in Jerusalem until the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. They all gathered together in the upper room on the day of Pentecost, when it was revealed to them that on that day they should with one accord expect the fulfillment from on high. Acts 2:1,2 1 When the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 Suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
And finally, the Lord Jesus also had the day of his ascension - the rapture revealed, because on this day he gathered a large number of disciples to him. He wanted ascension to be seen by as many people as possible, so that they could later testify to this event.
Do you still think that it is not necessary to know the day of the rapture? In order for you to better understand that it is necessary to know the day of the rapture, I will share a story with you. One man knew that in a few years a train would arrive at the station in his city, which would take him to the place where he wanted to be at all costs. It was very important to him. He knew the period in general, but he needed to know the exact day. It was clear to him that he could not wait at the station for several years, months or days. However, he was well aware that if he was not at the station when the train arrived, he would miss it. The train was supposed to be at the station for only a few minutes. How happy and jubilant he was when, shortly before the train arrived, it was revealed to him on which day the arrival would take place. However, he did not know what time the train would arrive that day, so he decided to wait at the station all day. You can wait intensely for a day, but definitely not for a year, a month, or a week. He got there on the appointed day, so he could board the train and go to the place he loved so much.
All of the people we have spoken of above knew the day of the event, but they did not know the hour when it would happen. This is exactly the same as our rapture. We know from the Scriptures that it will be the day of Pentecost, but we do not know the hour. You may ask what we should do and how to prepare for this day? I will not answer that. Perhaps it will be specified to us just before this day, perhaps it will be revealed to each of us individually by the Holy Spirit Himself. However, we have been revealed that it is important to expect the rapture on this God-given day.
Another argument against knowing the day of the rapture is that many dates have already been set by various watchmen, so why should we believe this particular date? This is yet another trick of the devil. I also expected the rapture on different dates during the 8 years. But now, when the revelation came from Scripture that the day of Pentecost was designated by God Himself as the day of the rapture, I realized that absolutely all the dates on which I had expected the rapture to occur were determined by men. The dates were derived from the movements of the heavenly bodies, signs in the Sun, Moon, stars, significant events in the world, or from other biblical holidays. However, looking back, it is clear that these dates were not substantiated and revealed by God Himself in Scripture. The rapture on the day of Pentecost is revealed in many places in the Bible, as we have been teaching for a long time. To understand this situation, I will give an example.
A thief decided to break into the headquarters of a prosperous company. He knows that it is secured against forced entry by shock sensors placed on the windows. Since he is an expert in this field, he comes up with a ruse. He knocks on the window and an alarm goes off - which is the date determined by men for the rapture. The owner, who lives about 20 minutes by car from the company headquarters, sleepily sets off on a journey. When he arrives at the company, he discovers that the alarm was false and nothing happened - the date of the rapture set by people has not been met, and he drives back home. However, the thief (the devil) repeats the whole action after a while. The owner, already very annoyed by the repeated alarms - the unmet dates of the rapture, drives away from the company headquarters again, because again nothing happened. After his departure, the thief takes advantage of the situation, breaks into the building, the alarm goes off, but the owner does not react anymore, thinks that it is a malfunction of the security system and continues to sleep peacefully. The same thing happens to the bride, who believes the devil that the day of the rapture can no longer be known due to the number of false dates. Perhaps only then will she find out that this time it was not a false alarm, but the day of the rapture set by God.
Another still debated issue is which calendar to use. We know that Pentecost is on the 6th of Av this year. We have talked about this in previous videos, and if you have not seen them, you should watch them. In order to anticipate a specific day of the rapture, we need to know which day it is on our calendar. It is necessary to have the correct calendar, where the days of the Jewish calendar correspond exactly to the days in our Gregorian calendar.
God shows us how to correctly align the Jewish calendar with our Gregorian calendar through solar and lunar eclipses. According to data from NASA and the Stellarium program, we know exactly on which day of our calendar a given eclipse occurred, even centuries ago and even centuries ago. The significant eclipses in our Gregorian calendar that we have observed fell exactly on the days of Jewish holidays or the Jewish New Year. As an illustrative example, I will give the total lunar eclipse on the faest of Purim this year. We know from Scripture that the faest of Purim falls on the 14th of Adar. The total lunar eclipse related to this faest, according to NASA, took place on March 14, 2025. If we use the Jewish calendar, we see that the Purin faest is exactly on the day of the eclipse. I will show this in the pictures of the calendar. The first picture is the original Jewish calendar, the second one is this calendar modified to meet the requirements of the Bible regarding the beginning of the month and so that the Sabbath - the day of rest - was always on the seventh day from the beginning of the month.
However, these adjustments do not change the days of the Jewish calendar compared to the days in the Gregorian calendar. In both, the original and the modified, the 14th of Adar, when the faest of Purim falls on March 14 of this year, when there was a total lunar eclipse. I chose this particular faest only to be able to clearly show the connection between the Jewish and Gregorian calendars. This applies to a large number of eclipses, for example, two total lunar eclipses that occurred in 2014 exactly on the first day of the feast of Passover and Tabernacles, again in 2015 on the first day of the feast of Passover and Tabernacles. The total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, which occurred exactly on Nisan 1. The total lunar eclipse in our calendar of the year 32 took place exactly at the time when the Lord Jesus hung on the cross, that is, on the 14th of Nisan in the year 32. There are many such connections and everyone has the opportunity to verify this information today. Therefore, I believe that the modified Jewish calendar used to calculate the day of Pentecost on the 6th of Av accurately points to the time from the evening of the 30th to the evening of the 31st of July 2025.
All the people we talked about at the beginning had the day of the event revealed exclusively by the Word of God. We are in exactly the same situation, where the day of the rapture on the Feast of Pentecost was also revealed exclusively by the Word of God.
I believe that the above facts provide answers to the questions that arise in your minds in connection with the day of the rapture.
