God the Father Himself reveals to us in Scripture the day of the rapture. Part 3

Hello John and Doves,

Dear brothers and sisters, in this study, I am following up on the previous teaching on the Feast of Pentecost. Pentecost is an absolutely exceptional feast for the church among all other biblical feasts, because on the Feast of Pentecost the Holy Spirit was poured out about 2000 years ago and the church was born. Now we are waiting for Pentecost, which will be fulfilled personally by the Lord Jesus by descending into the clouds and the subsequent rapture of the church, when the age of the church on Earth will be ended and the Holy Spirit will be taken from the Earth. The church will then be with the Lord forever.

One book in Scripture is entirely prophetic of these events. It is the book of Ruth, which deals with the marriage of the faithful Israelite Boaz to the pagan woman Ruth. This book is perceived by many teachers of Scripture as a type of the wedding of the Lord Jesus with his bride - the church. For this reason, it is important to know in which part of the year the wedding took place. A close examination of the book of Ruth reveals that the time of year for the wedding is recorded precisely. The wedding of Boaz and Ruth took place during the Feast of Pentecost, which is midsummer.

Now let’s examine the verses in this book that will help us understand when the wedding took place.

1. Naomi and Ruth returned from the land of Moab to Bethlehem and arrived there in the spring at the beginning of the winter barley harvest Ruth 1:22 “So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess her daughter-in-law with her, from the fields of Moab. They came to Bethlehem at the beginning of the barley harvest.” Ruth went to the field to glean behind the reapers and happened to be in a field belonging to Boaz Ruth 2:3 “She went until she came to the field and gleaned behind the reapers. She happened to be in the portion of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.” That day she gathered an ephah of barley and that same day she met Boaz for the first time.

2. The wedding of Boaz and Ruth could not have taken place during the harvest, but only at the very end of the barley and wheat harvests. Until then, Ruth lived with her mother-in-law Naomi Ruth 2:23 “So she stuck to the young women of Boaz to glean until the end of the barley and wheat harvests. She lived with her mother-in-law.”

3. The entire story of chapters three and four takes place in one day. We know that the winter barley harvest in the land of Israel ended in the months of April-May and the winter wheat harvest in the months of May-June. From chapter two we know that the wedding took place after the entire grain harvest. Since Boaz was winnowing barley on the threshing floor and it was already during the time of his marriage to Ruth, it must have been the harvest of the spring barley crop, which is harvested as the last crop, i.e. in the month of July Ruth 3:2 "For Boaz, with whose maids you were, is a relative of ours. Look, he will winnow barley at night in the threshing floor". The winter barley had already been in the granaries for about two months at that time. That it was the last harvest is also confirmed by the fact that Boaz gave Ruth six measures of spring barley Ruth 3:15 "He also said, 'Give me the veil that you are wearing, and hold it.' So she held it, and he measured six measures of barley and laid them on it. Then he went into the city". From the above it is clear that all the grain harvest and the last harvested crop, i.e. spring barley, Boaz winnowed on the threshing floor and processed it for storage in the granaries.

4. Wedding preparations. Ruth received instructions from Naomi on what to do next Ruth 3:4-6. Ruth did exactly as Naomi told her. The moment Boaz realized that his wife was lying at his feet and it was midnight (as in Mt 25:6 “at midnight there was a cry, ‘The bridegroom is coming...“), and that it was Ruth, he decided to act. When Ruth returned home, Naomi prophesied to her that Boaz would finish her business that day Ruth 3:18.

5. Wedding day. When Ruth left the threshing floor, Boaz immediately went to town, where he dealt with the matter and accepted his role as advocate - redeemer towards Ruth. He meets with the elders at the gate, resolves this situation in the then legal manner with the final result that he declares Ruth his lawful wife that very day. This marriage contract was confirmed by the elders including all the people at the gate Ruth 4:9-11.

The wedding of Boaz and Ruth therefore took place on the day after the spring barley harvest, i.e. in the period from late July to early August. Spring barley ripens 3.5 to 4 months after the grain is sown in late March to early April. We know from Scripture that the feast of Pentecost falls within this time period. As already stated, the wedding of Boaz and Ruth is a type of the wedding of the Lord Jesus with his church and this wedding of theirs took place during the period of the feast of Pentecost.

It is also interesting that on the wedding day Ruth received six measures of barley from Boaz, her redeemer. It is reminiscent of the six stone vessels in which Jesus turned water into wine at the wedding in Cana of Galilee.

Why is the spring barley harvest mentioned in the book of Ruth on the wedding day, when the church is compared to the wheat harvest? This is so that the time of Boaz and Ruth’s wedding would be clearly revealed. If Boaz was winnowing spring wheat on the threshing floor, then the wedding period would not be clearly determined, because the time difference between the autumn and spring wheat harvests is about 3 to 4 weeks. However, the difference between the autumn and spring barley harvests is about 2 to 2.5 months. If the Scripture states that Boaz was winnowing barley on the threshing floor, it must have been spring barley, because the winter barley at this time has already been stored in the granaries for about 2.5 months.

With the completion of the spring barley harvest, for the reasons mentioned above, the total harvest of all grain in Israel is completed. The harvest is therefore over and Boaz and Ruth’s wedding can take place during the Pentecost period. When the Lord reveals this to us in this way, it is clear that God wants us to know the time of the marriage of Boaz and Ruth. Since the book of Ruth is a type of the marriage of the Lamb with the church, we can look forward to the day of Pentecost with the blessed hope of our marriage in heaven.

The book of Ruth does not mention a specific day of the marriage of Boaz and Ruth, but it clearly defines the time of the wedding, which corresponds to the time of the feast of Pentecost. In the Gregorian calendar, the feast of Pentecost ranges from mid-July to mid-August, depending on when the Passover feast is that year, from which the feast of Pentecost is counted. This is exactly the time of year in Israel when all the grain harvest has already been harvested and new wine is also available, with which the disciples were supposedly drunk on the day of the feast of Pentecost (Acts 2).

A powerful prophetic sign that points to the rapture of the church on the day of Pentecost is the God-commanded sacrifice that the priest performs precisely on this feast by waving two baked leavened loaves.

We know that the Lord Jesus was resurrected on the third day (Nisan 16) precisely on the Feast of Firstfruits. In Lev 23:10-11 it is written: “...when you enter the land that I am giving you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the first sheaf of your harvest to the priest. He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted; on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.” This took place on the Feast of Unleavened Bread, when on Nisan 16 the priest waved a sheaf of barley. The Lord Jesus fulfilled this feast by His resurrection from the dead.

On the day of Pentecost, according to Scripture, the priest must wave two baked leavened loaves. In Lev 23:17 it is written: “From your dwellings you shall bring two loaves as a wave offering; they shall be of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour; they shall be baked leavened as firstfruits to the Lord.” At the rapture of the church, people come to God, sinners who have been cleansed by the blood of the Lord Jesus, and are therefore brought to God as firstfruits from among men. Therefore, the two leavened loaves, one representing the dead in Christ, who will be resurrected, and the other representing the living in Christ, who will be changed.

The Feast of Pentecost is the only feast when something leavened is used as an offering to God, that is, leavened bread. On the Feast of Weeks, according to Num 28:28, fine flour mixed with oil is offered to the Lord as an offering, so nothing with leaven is offered. These diametrically different offerings to God prove, among other things, that the Feast of Weeks cannot be connected with the Feast of Pentecost.

The Lord Jesus was resurrected on Nisan 16, the day of the Feast of Firstfruits, when the priest waved a sheaf of barley. So the church will be raptured on the day of Pentecost, when God commanded the priest to wave two leavened loaves. This is one of the greatest proofs in Scripture of the rapture of the church precisely on the day of Pentecost.

In Luke, chapter 21, much is taught about the signs of Jesus’ coming and about the redemption, the rapture of the disciples of the Lord Jesus, which will occur when the events and signs described in this chapter begin to happen. The Lord is speaking here about the summer and the coming kingdom of God Luke 21:28 to 31.

The church has been tricked into celebrating Pentecost on a completely different day than it actually is. It does not know the correct date of the feast and logically does not expect the rapture to occur during this summer season. I do not know of any other feast day that is so hidden from the church. No one cares that the new wine cannot be in Israel in the spring. No one cares that full weeks are to be counted when calculating the day of Pentecost, as we discussed in the previous video, but ordinary weeks are counted. Some already perceive that Pentecost must be in the middle of summer, but they rename the biblical feast of Pentecost the feast of new wine. They no longer care that the Bible itself calls this feast day Pentecost, in Greek Pentecost Acts 2:1: “And when the fiftieth day was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.” Pentecost is the Greek word for “fiftieth.”

It is clear that someone has tried hard to obscure the biblical teaching on the feast of Pentecost. This cannot be understood otherwise than that the one who hates the church has made a great effort to cause this confusion. There is probably only one reason for this: the day of Pentecost is the day of the rapture, which is discussed in many places in the Bible. It is important for all enemies of the rapture to obscure this biblical teaching about Pentecost. By the devil having moved the day of Pentecost from the church from summer to spring, the facts stated by God about the day of Pentecost as the day of the rapture are completely hidden from the church and it is impossible to see them from the Scriptures. Only by the correct biblical timing of the feast of Pentecost in summer can these revelations of God be understood. By this shift to spring, the devil has almost perfectly succeeded in hiding the day of the rapture on the day of Pentecost from the church.

Since the feast of Pentecost falls every year at the end of July or the beginning of August, it is logical that when this period is hidden from the church, then Christians will miss this time in their anticipation. At this time of summer, most people are already looking forward to the feast of Rosh Hashanah. In the summer, they no longer expect the rapture and do not prepare. The holiday season is also dangerous because people have increased priorities for pleasant relaxation, vacations, tourism, summer sports, etc.

From all the studies that have been gradually presented on the faest of Pentecost, it is clear that God Himself clearly shows in many places in Scripture that He has determined the day of the faest of Pentecost as the day when the most glorious wedding of all time will take place, the wedding of the Lord Jesus with His Church. The faest of Pentecost is for the church the most wonderful faest mentioned in the New Testament. It is a biblical holiday of Christians mainly from pagan nations. The church was born on that day of Pentecost and will depart to heavenly dwellings on another day of Pentecost.

To understand this teaching, it is necessary to listen to the previously mentioned parts 1 and 2 of the teaching. The link to both parts is in the description of this video.
