None of the great WW2 series I have seen ever had any CG footage. As A
Coast Guard veteran  It's great I found this. The WW2 Coast Guard had
well over 100,000 men, and manned many landing craft and troop
transports. Also many of our Cutters did convoy escort duty. Several
were lost in action, including the first CGC Escanaba, the predecessor
to the ship I served on in the late 1960's.
