"The Our Father: Praying for Daily Bread"

There are 7 crops/species in Israel according to the Scriptures: barley, wheat, figs, dates, pomegranates, grapes, and olives. The barley and the wheat were staples of life because these grains cold be milled into flour then baked into bread. The grains could be stored and used year-round. Every day, unlike the 5 fruits which were seasonal. The Our Father Prayer taught by the Messiah (THE BREAD OF LIFE and THE BREAD FROM HEAVEN) tells His followers to ask Our Father for our daily bread in our daily prayers. NOT for grapes or wine or olives and olive oil. NOT for 5 of the 7 crops/species. ONLY for the bread from the grains of barley and wheat. It is so very important that Appointed Times/Appointment Times/Feasts of Elohim 1-4 of the 7 are about GRAINS and BREAD. The 5 fruits ripen later, after the foundational 2 of barley and wheat.  At Sukkot ample thanks are given for ALL the 7 crops/species annually divinely bestowed upon Israel.

"Give us this day our daily bread" keeps it foundational and simple. At the soon arrival of Shavuot on 6-2 to 3, lovely juncture of fulfillment of Israel's Barley Season and its Wheat Season begun, let us DAILY GIVE THANKS for all our blessings. Abundant good gifts from above! May The Season of Shavuot, extending until the Feast of Trumpets, prove to be a Season of Daily Gratitude!

Come quickly, Messiah. THE ETERNAL BREAD OF LIFE FROM HEAVEN!

With Love and Shalom,
Jean
