Iran: How Does Ezekiel 38 Happen If There is Regime Change?

 

All the news headlines on the Israel-Iran War one might conclude that Iran is finished as an Islamic theocracy.  It appears that perhaps the Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi may return and set up a parliamentarian democracy.   It would appear that the majority of Iranians (60% Persian) are favorably disposed to Israel seeing their freedom returning.  If this scenario plays out it would seem that the Ezekiel 38 war prophesized may be many years away.  If it is not may years away, then something very surprising and unexpected will happen soon reversing the current direction of the war.

 

Remembering Daniel 10, Gabriel was delayed in his response to Daniel’s prayer request because he had to help Archangel Michael fight the demonic Prince of Persia.  This angelic war is very likely in progress in the angelic realm, that dimension parallel to our own dimension.  I am wondering about the prophecies.

 

Based on my current eschatological view of Ezekiel 38 and other end of days prophecies, I would expect no regime change.  Trump is cautiously avoiding entering the war.  He needs prayer support.  I am sure many different voices are challenging him. He wants to be in God’s will.  God’s will shall prevail.

 

If Israel were to prevail having silenced Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran, would Israel be living in “unwalled cities” (Ezekiel 38:11) and in “peace and security” (1 Thess. 5:3)?  Is that were we are going?  If so, Israel will prevail in this war.

 

This is such a significant war, I wonder if it is a part of a biblical prophecy.  It cannot be Ezekiel 38 because no nation comes to Israel’s aid in that war.  The U.S. is currently aiding Israel in many indirect ways.  If it is a precursor to Ezekiel 38, there will be no regime change.  Just a very angry Islamic theocracy hell bent on getting even with Israel.

 

So many questions……………
