The Lamb on mount Sion with the 144,000:
Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
Isn't it likely, that this 144,000, are the same 144,000 that were sealed in their foreheads, back in chapter 7?
Revelation 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
The account of the warnings of the three flying angels, follows this account of the Lamb on mount Sion with the 144,000.That would place these accounts in chapter 14, in the tribulation, before the Jesus comes back to the earth in chapter 19.Very few, like Stan Johnson, claim that Jesus comes back to the earth for this account, goes back to heaven, and then returns again, in chapter 19.No, that doesn't sound like what is going on here, at least not to me.
Is it possible that the account of the Lamb on mount Sion with the 144,000, is describing a scene in heaven, that John sees?Isn't there, also a mount Sion in heaven?
Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
What? One on earth, and one in heaven? Why not? Wasn't the tabernacle, and all the associated instruments, e.g. the ark, the golden candlestick, etc., to be made according the pattern of the heavenly one?
The heavenly tabernacle which the Lord pitched:
Hebrews 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
The earthly was to be made after the pattern of the heavenly:
Hebrews 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
Exodus 25:9 According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
There is even an earthly Jerusalem and a heavenly Jerusalem. So, couldn't it be possible that the LORD made an earthly mount Sion after the pattern of the heavenly mount Sion, which he also made? Then if that is so, then is it possible that John sees the Lamb standing on that heavenly mount Sion with the 144,000?And if so, then is it possible that the 144,000 which were sealed in chapter 7, are already in heaven by chapter 14?Will they have been martyred for Jesus?Or might there be a special catching away just for the 144,000, during the tribulation?
