Hi John and Doves,

 

It was whilst reading this article (link below) that it struck me just how prophetic it is. Almighty God's promise to Abraham was made when Abraham and Sarah were as old as dirt - as they say. They were coming to the end of their lives. All of a sardine, Almighty God told them they were going to have a child. This provoked much hilarity. However, Isaac was born - to parents who were, ostensibly, nearing the end of their years.

 

Is this prophetic of what we are experiencing now? Israel is coming to the end of her allotted years of ' a generation'.  Passed her youth, adolescence etc. Israel, at 77 years old, is now entering old age, so to speak. Has the time come for Israel (Isaac) to produce a child? Our Messiah Jesus? Almighty God is consistent and there is no Biblical story that doesn't hold importance.
