"Follow Up on Strikes on Iran By the U.S. - Douglas Macgregor and What's Next?"

Hello John and Doves,

I came across this interview with Col (ret.) Douglas Macgregor.

Macgregor made some very interesting points.  He has been outspoken on his personal opinion of Israel - which I don't agree with, but his military points seem valid.

Also, I wrote about the possibility Iran already has nuclear weapons and that's why they didn't try to protect those sites - they were done with them.  They had previously moved everything of value.

Macgregor Interview:

(my notes)

We are at war with Iran.

This bombing attack in Iran turned out to be a rather strange event - Iran did not turn on any radars; they didn't fire any missiles.  No defense capabilities by Iran at all were seen to counter our attacks.  (They did nothing to protect these sites.)  He thinks this may be because we let them know that we were going to strike these three sites.

It turns out we dropped lots of ordinances on these three sites.  It doesn't seem like we had much impact.  It doesn't seem like we killed anybody.  There doesn't seem to have been much in these places.  It would be like blowing up empty buildings.

What's next?  What's the rational?

At the Fordow site we knew that the Iranians, for some time, have been filling the tunnels with earth.

Something has changed - the intelligence is poor or deliberately we sought things of 'no' value.

The 'battle damage assessment' that we can now view on satellite imagery shows we didn't do much.

After hitting these sites, President Trump said 'there was great success in this and now there could be peace  now.'

The Iranians react in a very calculated manor.  They aren't reckless.  So we are waiting to see what they will do.

Israel was hit hard last night (June 27).  Many Israelis have left Israel.

This war has a potential to widen and do more damage.

The Straits of Hormuz will be closed soon.  Insurance companies will not insure tankers that pass through this strait.  This will stop the flow of oil too.

Everything is impossible, until it happens.

The world is tired of America's bullying.

If you don't have a nuclear weapon, you'll go down.

What I am concerned about, is maybe Iran moved everything of value out of those sites, before the strikes.  Also, our intelligence noted that satellite imagery showed Iran moving 'something' into Fordow - it's the deepest and most heavily fortified site - the safest for all things nuclear.

Did the Trump administration notify Iran pre-attack?  Did someone in Congress notify them?

It turns out that "President Trump notified Congress of the strikes on Iranian nuclear sites "well with" the 48 hour window defined by the War Powers Resolution."
Rounds says Trump notified congressional leaders of strikes ‘well within’ 48-hour window

AND maybe, Iran doesn't need the centrifuges and enrichment equipment any more.  They have completed their goal of becoming a nuclear power.

Maybe they have more than enough nuclear bombs to hit every European capitol and major cities in the U.S. and hold the world hostage.

That's my fear.  We've been so 'stuck on the narrative' for decades on 'preventing Iran from getting the bomb' that we now can't admit that we've failed and Iran has actually done it.

Imagine the apocalyptic fear that would spread across the world if it was announced that Iran has indeed 'broken out' and has created the bombs the world was trying to prevent.

In another letter today, I'll connect the dots to show that Iran could very well already be a nuclear power.

God help us.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Maranatha~
