Many are closely watching the 'situation' in the Middle East.

 

Just a few bits of news this Saturday night.

 

We may be seeing the formation of the Gog coalition.  Iran has treaties with Russia.

 

Pakistan is calling for Islamic countries to unite against Israel.

 

"Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on Saturday said all Muslim countries must united to confront Israeli aggression...He said Israel attacked Iran last night, targeted its military installations, and martyred its military leaders."

 

"In this entire situation, Israel is not acting alone."

 

"Israel is targeting Yemen, Iran, and Palestine - therefore, unite in the Muslim world is essential, he emphasised and warned, "If we remain silent and disunited today, then everyone will be targeted eventually."

 

He said a meeting of the OIC - Organization of Islamic Cooperation should be call "and that all Muslim nations must unite to confront Israel."

"Iran has embarked on a series of high-level phone calls with regional countries during the Eid al-Adha Islamic holiday.  The goal is to push for Islamic unity.  Iran also wants to use this against Israel."

Iran has warned that any Israeli ally joining in will also be a target.

 

 

"Britain is moving additional military assets, including fighter jets to the Middle East to provide support across the region, Prime Minister Keir Starmer told reporters on Saturday as he was en route to a Group of Seven meeting in Canada..Crews began deployment preparations on Friday morning, when it was clear the situation in the region was deteriorating, spokesperson for the prime minister said.  Further refueling aircraft from British bases have been deployed, and additional fighter jets will be sent."

"France is set to deploy its advanced Rafale fighter jets to the Middle East in the coming days. aligning its operations with the United States and Israel..."

It's very unstable over there...the casualty count is increasing on both sides.  Israel says this won't stop until Iran's nuclear capability is totally destroyed.

Looks like the U.S. is waffling:

 

"US military leaders, including the chief of US Central Command, Gen. Michael Kurilla, have requested more resoucres to support and defend Israel.  But their requests have drawn resistance from the undersecretary of defense for policy Eldridge Colby, who has long opposed moving US military assets from Asia to the Middle East...
