JESUS SAID, "KNOW MAN KNOWS THE DAY NOR THE HOUR......"

Matthew 24:36 ( Jesus speaking )

"But of THAT DAY and HOUR knoweth no man , no, not the angels of heaven, but MY FATHER ONLY." 

Most Christians mistakenly believe that is the end of it, BUT IT IS NOT THE END OF IT.

Notice that this Scripture is given in the 'present tense', ie. "no man knoweth".  Jesus DID NOT SAY ,  'no man will ever know' of "THAT DAY and HOUR". 

Notice, also, that Jesus DID NOT SAY that there will be NO SIGN  before "THAT DAY and HOUR" to alert us to the  NEARNESS of its' coming. 

Notice, also, that Jesus gave that Scripture pre-crucifixion. Now, AFTER His resurrection to His FATHER, the following Scripture NOW applies :

Revelation 1:1   ( God, the Father, tells Jesus everything so that Jesus can then reveal everything to His servants in the Book of Revelation )

"The Revelation of Jesus Christ which GOD ( The Father ) GAVE UNTO HIM to show UNTO HIS SERVANTS things which must shortly come to pass....." ( 'future tense' )

Notice how the Scripture has now changed POST-RESURRECTION according to :

Revelation  3:3

"If therefore you shall not watch I will come upon you as a thief , and you shall not know WHAT HOUR I will come upon  you." ( What happened to the DAY Jesus will come ? )

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :

God, the Father, has always known of "THAT DAY and HOUR" , and AFTER Jesus resurrected  back to heaven HIS FATHER REVEALED EVERYTHING TO JESUS, including "THAT DAY and HOUR" of the RAPTURE.   Jesus, in turn, then revealed it to His servants in the Book of Revelation. We are now to KNOW THE DAY from the information given to us in the Book of Revelation.
