Greetings in the Name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST,

Thank-you very much for sending me "Watching and Waiting" these many years.  It's greatly appreciated. I'm a 70 year old pastor of a small Sovereign Grace church in N.E. Tn. And have been keenly interested in Bible prophecy for over 40 years. As you, we are Pre-Mill--Post-Trib and SGAT has helped to solidify those Biblical positions.

I have however, a different view on Ezekiel 38-39 Gog-Magog and wrote on the subject back in late 2005. I deeply believe the attempted invasion of Israel by Russia-Iran and others is the very next important Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.  

The enclosed was sent to my e-mail list in late January.

We first wrote about the Gog Russian-Iranian etc. invasion toward Israel over 16 years ago. If someone wants a hard copy of that long report please let me know. After the decimation of the Rosh-Persia alliance God's people will then see the stage is set for the rest of end time Bible prophecies to be fulfilled. There is no imminent Secret Rapture. And Gog is not the final Antichrist. We're not proclaiming an exact day of when the invasion toward Israel occurs,[could be years away] but strongly believe the destruction of Gog happens some time BEFORE the Second Coming of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

1Thess.4.13-18  "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."


After the ruin of Gog and his armies by the LORD GOD, sadly at the very end of days, some in Israel and all unbelievers around the world will follow and worship the last Antichrist when he arrives into Israel's new temple.  I could be wrong, but Russia might not even fully takeover all of Ukraine, just the eastern section to establish their desired land bridge. The present gathering of troops also could be a prelude to finally march further south in the future toward Israel.  Ezekiel 38.1-7  ESG
