The Pfizer-BioNTech covid-19 vaccine is “likely” to have been
responsible for at least 10 deaths in nursing homes in Norway,
an expert review commissioned by the Norwegian Medicines
Agency has concluded.
The expert group was established at the end of February 2021
to look into the cause of the first 100 reported deaths

Nursing home deaths after COVID-19 vaccination
the Norwegian Medicines Agency received 100 reports of
suspected fatal adverse reactions to the vaccine. An expert
group has examined the reports and assessed the extent of a
causal link between vaccination and death.
Among 100 reported deaths, a causal link to the vaccine was
considered probable in 10 cases, possible in 26 and unlikely
in 59.

To 23 May 2021, 3.6 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have
been given in Australia.
In this period, the TGA has received 210 reports of deaths
following immunisation –
109 have been reported for the Pfizer vaccine,
94 for the AstraZeneca vaccine and
seven where the vaccine was not specified.

Over 48 hours, distribution was mainly observed to liver,
adrenal glands, spleen and ovaries, with maximum
concentrations observed at 8-48 hours post-dose.
LNP+modRNA outside the injection site was greatest in the
liver (up to 21.5%)

LNP-formulated RNAs can distribute rather non-specifically to
several organs such as spleen, heart, kidney, lung and brain.

Public access to vaccine adverse event reports
The first adverse event reports for the Comirnaty (Pfizer)
vaccine are now available in the TGA’s public Database of
Adverse Event Notifications (DAEN). ...TGA publishes adverse
event reports for all medicines and vaccines in the DAEN 90
days after they are received.
