Isaiah 28 has leapt into focus. Is this the covenant of death spoken of in Isaiah 28? Reading this chapter, it seems clear that judgement comes quickly as a result of Israel "signing an agreement" with death. These "scoffers who rule this people in Jerusalem" seem to think they will avoid catastrophe by signing an agreement with someone who Almighty God detests. Instead of relying on Almighty God, these rulers have relied on signing agreements with an enemy. A tiny bit of yeast eventually affects the entire batch.

Even a child would learn quicker, Doves. Making agreements with people who do NOT have your best interests at heart, is asking to be stabbed in the back. Mansour Abbas will make their lives an utter misery. Not only that - Almighty God has bequeathed the land of Israel to the Jewish people. NOT to any other race. This is a huge violation of Israel's covenant with Almighty God.
