John and Doves,
Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, California is truly a profile in courage.
In March of 2020 when all California churches were mandated to close by order ofGovernor Gavin Newsom, all churches obeyed, erroneously believing theflu was powerful enough to demand a total transformation of our way of life, losing our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Precautions yes, tyranny no.
After a few weeks of closure and everyone scrambling to adjust to ZOOM telecasting, minus actual assembling, church goers as well as pastors craved to assemble all the more as we saw the day approaching.Hebrews 10:25
On Memorial weekend of 2020, Pastor Jack opened up all avenues of worship, flushing out the hypocrisy of the plandemic.
The N Y Ts and C N N greatly condemned Christians who courageously stood up to the tyranny, and the media falsely claimed that Christian worship would cause the death of thousands, if not millions. Actually, no church that stood up against the tyranny had any unusual occurrences of the flu.T P T B especially forbade singing in church as being a major infectious route of the flu.
Well the services have continued, and the singing remains a strong part of the worship service and no one suffered all the more because of it.
But the exciting part of this testimony is how every department of church application exploded exponentially in numbers, Salvation, baptisms and in every way conceivable. How amazing is our God !
Each department leader approached the podium with the facts and figures and Joy of the Victory in Jesus they had all played a part in, by standing up for their Faith. God gave the increase !!
The witness is so phenomenal that no words can express it any better than by these words.
"Behold, I have set before thee an OPEN DOOR and no man can shut it. ".Rev. 3:8
An OPEN DOORby Pastor Jack Hibbs
Sermon given on the one year Anniversary of religious freedom of worship at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills.
It was a joyous celebration of Acts 5:29..."We ought to obey God, rather than man."
In the afterglow of our joy as the service was ending, Pastor Jack gave a sobering message that rang true in the hearts of all of us.
Troublesome times are ahead. Persecutions will keep coming and wax worse and worse. We must stand strong in our Faith as never before.
We are not to fear. Pastor Jack reminded all of us that the first group into the Lake of Fire are the *fearful*.Rev.21:8
Miracles are not guaranteed.
Please seeDaniel 3: 16-18.*Paraphrased*:"We will not bow down to thee oh King, for our God is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace.
*But whether He does or whether He doesn't,*
we still will not worship you, and He *will* deliver us out of your hand".
It is the same as in Hebrews 11:33-35a. Some were delivered OUT of persecution;
and some were delivered THROUGH persecution.Hebrews 11:35b--40.Some were made white.Daniel 12 :10
Pastor Jack went on to explain Matthew 13, which teaches us that only the strong endure.
"We count them happy which endure"James 5:11
Thank you for your courage, Pastor Jack Hibbs , and for all the Pastors who took a brave stand for assembling during Covid.
The time will come when many more Pastors will have the courage to keep their doors open. Hopefully all.
