WHAT IS IT THAT JESUS IS DOING IN DANIEL 9:27

Daniel 9:27

"And He shall CONFIRM THE COVENANT WITH MANY for one week; and IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation TO CEASE."

"the covenant with many" that "he", Jesus,  came to "confirm” “for one week" ,  ie. the 70th week of Daniel,  is the Covenant that God made with Abraham and Abraham's many seed according to :

Genesis 12:3

"And in thee , Abraham,  shall ALL families of the earth BE BLESSED."  Ask yourself , what future Blessing could possibly come to all the families of the earth through Abraham ?

Genesis 17:9-10

"And God said unto Abraham, You shall keep MY COVENANT therefore ,thou, and THY SEED after thee IN THEIR GENERATIONS.  This is MY COVENANT which ye shall keep between Me and you AND THY SEED after thee."

Acts 3:25-26

"Ye are the children of the prophets and OF THE COVENANT which God made with our fathers saying unto Abraham, And in THY SEED shall ALL THE KINDREDS of the earth BE B LESSED. God having raised up His Son Jesus, HAS SENT HIM TO B LESS YOU. "

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT:

There is ONLY ONE "COVENANT WITH MANY" spoken of in ALL THE SCRIPTURES, and that is without a doubt, GOD'S COVENANT WITH ABRAHAM and with THE MANY SEED of Abraham to come down through the generations. Not only that “THE COVENANT WITH MANY" God made with Abraham includes A BLESSING to come in the future for ALL THE PEOPLES OF THE EARTH. 

The "BLESSING" that is promised in God's "COVENANT WITH MANY" IS JESUS CHRIST, the Messiah, whom God sent into the world to be crucified for the remission of  sin for "ALL THE KINDREDS OF THE EARTH."
