DO NOT CONFUSE THE ONE "TRUMPET OF GOD" AT THE RAPTURE WITH THE 'TRIBULATION TRUMPETS' OF THE SEVEN ANGELS ............
Do not confuse the ONE "trumpet of God" which is sounded on the day of the rapture with the 'angels SEVEN trumpets' of the tribulation which are sounded announcing the seven judgments of God during the great tribulation which comes AFTER the rapture . First let's look at the ONE "trumpet of God" which is sounded on THE DAY of the rapture to raise the dead according to :
1 Thessalonians 4:16
"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and WITH THE TRUMP OF GOD..." So it is God's trumpet that is sounded in the following Scripture:
1 C corinthians 15:52
"In a moment in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP, for THE TRUMPET SHALL SOUND and the dead shall be raised incorruptable..." So it is the trumpet of God that makes the sound of "THE LAST TRUMP" on the day of the rapture which raises the dead in Christ.
Now let's look at the 'SEVEN angels trumpets' which are sounded in succession to announce God's SEVEN judgments during the great tribulation AFTER the rapture:
Revelation 8:2
"And I saw seven angels which stood before God, and to them were given seven trumpets." After the first six angels sound their trumpets then the seventh and LAST ANGEL sounds his trumpet , but it is NOT CALLED "the last trump" in Scripture even though it is THE LAST ANGEL of the seven angels to sound his trumpet according to :
Revelation 11:15
"And the SEVENTH ANGEL SOUNDED , and there were voices in heaven saying The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord...." The seventh angel trumpet sounds to announce the Second Coming of the Lord.
SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :
The only time in Scripture that any reference is made to "THE LAST TRUMP" is to the "TRUMPET OF GOD"on the day of the rapture when "THE LAST TRUMP" of God sounds to resurrects the dead in Christ. "THE LAST TRUMP” of God sounds on the day of the rapture which is several YEARS BEFORE the seventh angel sounds his trumpet at the end of the great tribulation to announce the Second Coming of the Lord. Do not confuse the distinctly different trumpets of Scripture.
According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus !
