PROTESTS, MARCHES,
DEMONSTRATIONS, AND
RIOTS...!

     "For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
     Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you,
    Who shall give account to Him that is ready to judge the quick (living) and the dead,"  1 Peter 4:3-5.  
INTRODUCTION
     Being an old man, I have seen all kinds of protests and demonstrations over the years of my life.  I remember the "Women's Rights" movement, the marches and protests to integrate the schools, the "Equal Rights" movement, the "Black Power" movement, the "Abortion Rights" movement, the protests against America's involvement in the Viet Nam war, the marches of the sodomites to gain a legal right to openly and proudly  proclaim themselves to be  homo-sexuals, and the right to homosexual marriage, and on, and on, and on.  
     And as I write today, there are protests and marches, and demonstrations going on all over the world, for a dead man, who was accidently killed by the police using excessive force.  This present protests is a good example of what is involved in nearly all such protests and marches.  
THE GLARING OBVIOUS.....
     These protests today may, or may not, BEGIN in support of  some good or just cause,  but they NEVER end  that way.  When a crowd, or a MOB, assembles in the streets to protest, such protests over the past 70 years, has clearly shown that such protests, marches, and demonstrations, always end up in RIOTS.  
     And what do RIOTS involve?  Such riots involve anger, hatred, cursing, drunkeness, doping, fighting,    destruction of private property, looting, stealing,  burning, and sins of the flesh.  Women who are silly enough to become  involved in these protests are often raped, or otherwise sexally abused.  People who are STUPID enough to bring their little children with them to the protests, sometimes have their children seriously hurt,  kidnapped, or even killed.    Rah! Rah! Rah!  Aren't these protests wonderful?  Don't they solve a lot of problems?  Right a lot of wrongs?  
     NO!  They most certainly do not!  Rather, they create more racial hatred, hurt innocent people, and destroy property which has to be rebuilt, replaced, or abandoned.  These protests and RIOTS are not the work of God, or the Lord's people.  It is still SATAN who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, John 10:10.  No true believer should ever have any part in these protests, marches, and RIOTS.  No part!  None!  
     WHAT GOD THINKS OF RIOTERS
     Those readers who want Scriptural truth on this subject, need to carefully STUDY 2 Peter 2, the entire chapter, but especially notice 2:13, "And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time....."  
     Have our readers ever seriously looked at the face of those taking part in these so called "protests,"  marches,  and RIOTS?  Look at the crowd as they appear on the TV news.  Many of them taking part, are not there to protest anything.  They are smiling, laughing, cheering, and having a great time, really enjoying themselves.  While there may be a FEW who are serious about their "cause," most of them taking part are just enjoying the PARTY.  
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?  
    I wish I could tell our readers that the RIOTS will soon be over, and life will return to normal.  But those who are assuring the people of this ARE BALD FACE LYING TO THE PEOPLE.  Folks, it is not going to get better, or even return to "normal," as it was before all this trouble began.  
      It was the Lord Jesus Himself who said, "Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
     But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all," Luke 17:28-29,
     Now tell me, dear readers, did living conditions improve in Sodom?  No!  Rather, they deteriorated right to the day that Lot was removed from Sodom.  
     Again, It was the Apostle Paul, writing by Divine Inspiration,  who clearly stated, "But evil men, and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived," 2 Timothy 3:13.  
     No!  World conditions are not going to get better, or return to "how it used to be."  They are going to keep right on becoming worse and worse, right to the day when the Lord Jesus comes to remove His people from this present evil world, just like Lot was taken out of Sodom.  This is the only way of escape for those who are God's people, saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus, Ephesians 2:8-10; Galatians 1:4.  
     Dear reader, does this include YOU?  Read 2 Peter 1:10-11, and make your "calling and election sure," and do it RIGHT NOW.  Our Lord is coming for His church and believing people REAL SOON.  Tomorrow may be just one day too late to seek the Lord for salvation.  If any reader has the slightest doubt about their standing with the Lord, then seek Him NOW for salvation and assurance, Romans 10:13.
