An Old Testament Link to the Rapture?
As I was praying tonight and studying the Bible, I read a verse in the Old Testament which tied into another Old Testament verse. As we know, Old Testament pictures are New Testament principles.
"As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day." (Ezekiel 34:12)
This connected beautifully with another verse I had read earlier.
"Wail, 'Woe to the day!' For the day is near, Even the Day of the Lord is near; It will be a day of clouds, The time of the Gentiles." (Ezekiel 30:3)
Do you see the connection I see? The Day of the Lord is near.....In the time of the Gentiles (Church Age...NOW)….A day of clouds! --AND-- Our shepherd, JESUS, will seek out His flock on such a day to deliver them from all the places where they were scattered!
I am so excited! Surely Our Lord is near and He is IN THE CLOUDS and HE is coming SOON! Maranatha, doves! Looking Up!
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. – Luke 21:36
