Sobering Thoughts & Scriptural Truth about
Global Warming

     "For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comething shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
     But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
     And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
                                                                            Malachi 4:1-3
Introduction
     Another "sign" which the Lord told His people to "watch" for is right now in the process of coming to pass.  I am speaking of "global warming."  Read Luke 21:25-28.  
The Background
     I am not at all sure about the year when this subject began to be discussed by the news media on TV, but I think it must have been in the 1970's or 80's.  It remained a prominent topic of conversation until sometime after the turn of the century.  
     And it was reinforced shortly after the turn of the century when astronomers and meterologists began warning people that explosions on the Sun were throwing large amounts of electro-magnetic energy  out into space, some of which would strike the earth.  
     It was then in 2007 that I wrote a Bible Study on the significance of the numbers "seven and eight."  I pointed out in that study that the number seven in God's Word signifies "completion or fulfillment," and the number eight in the Bible signifies "change; new beginning; new birth; to change or begin anew."  In that study I emphasized that 2007 was completing certain events, and that in 2008 there would be a change.  In that study I also mentioned the electro-magnetic energy that was then being thrown off of the Sun by tremendous explosions on the Sun, and pointed out that some of it would be absorbed by the magnetic molten iron core of the Earth. This would cause the core of the Earth to heat up excessively, and the excessive heat would filter upwards to the surface of the earth, causing it to become much hotter on the surface of the Earth.  
      As I now look back, I realize that these predictions did literally come to pass.  The global temperature of the entire Earth has been rising every year, practically since the turn of the century, and it is still rising.  I might add that explosions on the Sun, throwing large amounts of electro-magnetic energy into space, are still continuing right to this day.  
     At some point in all of this, the national leaders became so concerned about global warming that they drew up and signed an International  Global Warming Treaty.  I do not recall the year or date when this went into effect, but it has been in effect now for many years.  And even though it was eventually signed by 192 nations, according to the news media, guess what nation has been footing most of the bill for implementing the fight against global warming, right from the beginning?  If you guessed the United States of America, you guessed correctly!
Trying to Control Global Warming
     What is causing Global Warming, and what has been done in an effort to control it?  I do not have all the answers to this question for our readers, but I do have some of them.  
     What the politicians are blaming as the cause for global warming is the exhaust fumes from millions of automobiles all over the earth, the smoke from thousands of factories manufacturing the goods we need and use every day, the burning of "fossil fuels," air pollution from thousands of different sources. etc.  It has all been blamed on mankind living on the earth, without even a word said about the excessive electro-magnetic energy being thrown into space by the Sun which is being absorbed by, and is heating up, the Earth's molten iron core.  
     So what has been the solution for the problem by the politicians?   Those exhaust fume canisters installed in your car, filters placed on the smoke stacks of every factory in the world, propaganda discouraging the use of "fossil fuels," and even the invention of electric cigarettes.  
     But.....what they fail to mention to the public is their reason for the spraying of chemicals in the atmosphere all over the earth; commonly referred to as "chem trails."  
     These chem trails are thought by many to be poisoning mankind, causing various kinds of diseases, in order to kill off over population on the earth, and "this could indeed be one of the reasons for the spraying."  However, the major reason claimed by politicians who will even talk about it, is that it is to "cool" the earth's climate due to "global warming."  
     In other words, these politicians know that there is a threat to the earth coming from the explosions on the Sun, but they don't want to panic the people by admitting that they know this.  So they have used all of these man-made methods to keep our climate cooler.
But Now the Crisis
     Using these man-made methods to keep the climate of the earth cool enough for life on the earth to go on "normally," is costing millions of dollars per day, and the United States, mostly unknown to the American people, has been footing most of the bill.  But suddenly a crisis has arrived!  
      President Donald Trump has publicly announced that the United States is cancelling it's part in the Global Warming Treaty, and will put no more American money into the effort to control the climate of the whole Earth.  
     Wow!   One would think that the world had just come to an end, from the reaction of the liberal news media and all of the earth worshippers.   I personally heard for myself the NBC news broadcast last week reporting this as a news item.  The liberal reporter's heart just bled as he spoke of the consequences of America cancelling their part in this treaty.  I heard him for myself, and he actually stated that thousands of people all over America will die from the excessive heat this summer.
Scriptural Verification
      Sadly, he may have spoken the truth!   God's Word, as set forth in our Scripture text for this study, plainly teaches that a "Day" is approaching when it will become like "an oven" on the surface of the earth, and the proud hearted and wicked shall be burned into "ashes."
     Some readers may not want to believe this could even happen, but don't laugh too loud, for the Lord is listening!   Why do the prophetic Scriptures explicitly state that mankind will flee to the mountains, and go into holes, caves, and dens?  Read it for yourself in Isaiah 2:19-21 and Micah 7:17. One reason is because of the terrible heat on the surface of the earth.  The only place to escape the heat will be in caves and dens and holes in the earth, with the rocks and ground serving as insulation between people and the heat of the Sun.  Preposterous!  Impossible!   Some may think so.  Think again!
       Perhaps some need to read Isaiah 30:26, "Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of His people, and healeth the stroke of their wound."  The inspired Word in this Scripture explicitly states that the light of the Sun will become "sevenfold, as the light of seven days."  
     Dear readers, we need the light of the Sun, but we also need to remember that sunlight is the same light which produces heat.  And the prophecy is that it shall become "sevenfold" at some point, obviously during the future Tribulation period.  
      At the present time we often experience 90 degree days in the summer here in Missouri, and occasionally 100 degrees or more.  Seven times 90 would be 630 degrees of heat, or seven times 100 would be 700 degrees.  Yes, people would not only suffer heatstroke just stepping out into such heat, but the gases in their bodies would become combustible and literally burst into flames, causing their bodies to be burned into "ashes," just as Malachi 4:1 clearly states.      
     In Revelation 16:8-9, when the fourth angel pours out his vial [bowl] of God's wrath upon the earth, this passage plainly states that men will be "scorched with great heat."  
     The Timing
     Folks, we believers are living in "the last days" of this present dispensation right now, whether some want to believe it or not.  I personally look for, and pray for, the coming of our Lord to resurrect and rapture His believing people to glory, every single day and night that passes, and I make no apology to any reader for doing so.  His glorious "appearing" for us occupies my mind daily and often, Titus 2:11-15.  
      And now comes the announcement over public television that the Global Warming Treaty is being cancelled, and that as a result thousands could die of heatstroke this very summer.  Are you listening?  Are you taking these "signs" of the swiftly approaching Tribulation period seriously?  
     Of course, heat in the summertime rises to as much as 120 to 130 degrees of heat in many of the deserts in this country, and in other countries which have deserts in them.  
     But we are not speaking here of heat in the deserts, due to global warming.  We are speaking of such temperatures, and higher, in the streets and neighborhoods of  villages, towns, and cities all over America, and other countries around the world.  It is highly possible, that the temperatures may rise to 140, 150, 160, degrees or higher right in your own hometown this summer.   If this should happen, do our readers really think their air conditioners will keep them cool?
      Ho boy!  That's a laugh!.....about a subject that's not really funny.
The Effects of Global Warming
     I have already said more about this, than most readers will want to hear, but our text in Malachi 4:1 indicates that "all" of the proud, and "all" who do wickedly, shall be burned up.  In Jeremiah 25:33, we read, "And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground."  
     Over and over again the inspired prophetic Scriptures refers to the seven year Tribulation period as a time of "fire" and "fiery judgment" upon Christ rejecting mankind.  Look up either one of these words in your own Concordance and see for yourself how many Scriptures refer to the Tribulation period as a time of fiery judgment.  
     And folks, the Tribulation period is staring mankind in the face right now.  
The Glorious Good News.....
     Yes, I do realize that the subject I have been writing on is very depressing to many readers, however a bright future is also recorded in God's Word for all those who have placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of their soul.  
     Dear readers, Christ died at Calvary to save mankind from these judgments that are now just ready to come upon all of Christ rejecting mankind.  John 3:16 is still in the Bible, and it still works.  So is Acts 16:30-31, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."  
     But hurry!  There is not much time left for lost men and women, boys and girls, to seek the Lord for salvation.  With every passing day, time for one to seek and find the Lord as their own personal Savior, is growing shorter and shorter.  This present Dispensation of Grace is now drawing to a swift conclusion.  Hurry to the Lord in humble, sincere prayer, and ask Him to come into your heart and life and save you for time and eternity, and He will!  "God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord," 1 Corinthians 1:9.  See also 1 Corinthians 10:13 and 1 Thessalonians 5:24.  
Conclusion
     Folks, I have no desire to see anyone die without Christ, not by burning nor by any other form of destruction.  My desire is to meet every reader in Heaven when the Trumpet sounds and our precious Savior comes to receive His people up into glory, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.  Please don't disappoint me!  Receive Christ NOW, while there is still time for you to be saved.  May our gracious Lord grant to every reader of this study, His Grace and blessing.
