"Gay Marriage Anniversary 1: 6-26-2016"

The Supreme Court of the USA ruled 5-4 on 6-26-2015 that the Constitution guarantees a right to same-sex marriage. In his majority opinion, Justice Anthony M. Kennedy opined "No longer may this liberty be denied." In dissent, Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. noted that the Constitution had nothing to say on the subject of gay marriage. The 5-4 decision was no great consensus of opinion, it was rather one vote more than a tie, which reflected a deeply divided Supreme Court.

So here we are on the verge of Gay Marriage Anniversary 1 on 6-26-2016. A Sunday. At Protestant faith houses in each of the 50 states will be sermons with gay themes, perhaps on marriage. Remember Sodom and the themes of 5 and 50? Will numerous ordained ministers of the Gospel, especially pastors, ask gay couples to stand, be honored, and applauded for their marriages? As part of scheduled worship services? Would Abba Father and Christ interpret that as worship? Or apostasy? Sacrilege? Might 6-26 be The Day when Christ's Bride, without blemish, is taken away in the midst of multiple displays of the values of the Mystery, Babylon the Great in every American city, county, and state from sea to shining sea? Soon will arrive The Day of The Blessed Hope when "the fullness of the gentiles" is complete, the New Jerusalem residences at the Father's House are ready, and the Groom of grooms is told by the Father to spirit away the beloved Bride for the Wedding of the Ages at the Heavenly Chuppah.

Since the arrival of the English at Jamestown in 1607, such public honoring (even applauding) of homosexual male and lesbian relationships has rarely or not been asked or commanded of Christian congregants as part of scheduled worship services. Paul warned about the exchanging of the worship of the creature rather than of the Creator. Who will be worshipped on 6-26-2016 at Christian houses of faith? Will THAT DAY display spiritual sea change, after 408 years since Jamestown?

What next for the Mystery, Babylon the Great? Look to the Book of Revelation 3:16. "But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot or cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth." Who will Christ's "vomit people" be, the discarded and rejected tares among the wheat? Who will be the unrepentant phonies, those " found not worthy to stand before the son of man?" WHO will be Christ's bride? Who will not? Some individuals will be amazed and shocked at their exclusions on that great day of many Resurrection miracles. The Blessed Hope means those included and those excluded, The Division and The Separation. Come quickly, Lord...

With Love and Shalom,
