"Do all in the name of the Lord Jesus"

Colossians 3:17 tells us that " whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him " . Do we as Christians really do this ? Think about what this scripture verse is telling us in our 21st century lives. When we are driving - do we reflect Jesus to the other drivers around us ? Are we thoughtful and considerate to other drivers, or do we get mad at the driver who just cut in front of us, or is going to slow in the fast lane ?
Do we shine the love and grace of Jesus Christ to everyone we come into contact with through-out our day, or do we act rude to others and say things about people behind their backs ? I believe that Col 3:17 is telling us to act as followers of Jesus Christ in everything we do or say from the time we wake up to when we go to sleep at night. Put a big smile on your Savior's face today by living your daily life in thought, word and deed for the Glory of the King of Kings and Lord of Lord's - Jesus Christ !
have a blessed day,   Gary
