How many of you five-doves readers were rapture watchers back in 1988 ? Remember the world-wide rapture movement that swept the county and the world that summer of 1988 ? A little booklet was printed by a NASA engineer that showed 88 reasons why the rapture would happen during The Feast of Trumpets in Sept of 1988. That little booklet was in most Christian book stores in USA and published in many foreign languages. And yes we know that Jesus didn't return that year, but that warning woke up the Christian church to the idea that Jesus could return in our generation
     
    And how many lost souls were won to the Lord because of that warning we will not know till we get to heaven. But I have a feeling  God used that rapture warning to win tons of people to His kingdom . I was a new believer in Jesus back then, and it got me excited to think that Jesus could return in my lifetime. And yes I have been a rapture watcher ever since
     
    I bring this up because it feels like 27 years after the rapture "88" movement, another rapture movement is gaining steam. Which I would call the Summer 2015 rapture movement ! Many watchers are getting that inner feeling that Jesus may be getting ready to return for His church age believers sometime this year of 2015. I have read lots of postings on this site and others that are pointing to the conviction that Jesus is telling many watchers that His return is very near, and yes like this year. World events sure do seem to be pointing to the soon beginning of the Tribulation Judgements as described in the Book of Revelation. And thus the Christian believers rapture flight into heaven must be getting ready to happen also
     
    Just recently, one of Billy Graham's daughters - Anne Graham Lotz on her website put out message titled : Mayday - Mayday / Sounding the Alarm . In it she says that  one of the things the Lord has impressed on her is that we are living at the end of human history as we know it. And now is the time to sound the alarm and a urgent call to prayer for our nation
     
    So my fellow rapture watchers, are we in another summer rapture watch movement ? Is Jesus preparing to return for us very soon , like as in this year of 2015 ? Obviously we will know soon enough. I suggest we use what time we have left remaining till our Lord's return for God's kingdom purposes. Use you time, talents and resources to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Nothing is more important than that in these final closing days of the church age. Use you life for eternal value. And you will put a big smile on your Lord's face !
