This saying is often attributed to C S Lewis (whom I admire greatly) but there is controversy as to who actually said it. Be that as it may - it is profound.

"You do not HAVE a soul. You ARE are soul. You have a body." (Temporarily or otherwise)

It's wonderful when you really give it thought.
