I just don’t get ….. and I am hurt by it….. that I keep losing friends, I don’t mean to death, but simply by their turning their back on me…..

 

Friends I’ve known for years, we’ve broken bread together many times, we’ve shared girlfriend secrets, we’ve leaned on each other and shared laughing, pain, and tears…..we’ve shared holidays together during the most lonely, painful times (after she was betrayed by her husband…)

 

And a few laughs even over innocent jokes, yet turn the tables & I say something in a joking way – and they do a turn on me like a mad, wet cat!!!!

 

I’m not a cruel teaser, by any stretch.  But I just think if people can’t take a little fun & play, a little bit of joking now & then, well these truly are the end of the end days, when people get mad over a BIG FAT NOTHING!!!!!!!!

 

I seriously try to weigh my words, I do not purposely set about to hurt anyone’s feelings, least of all my friends.  Yet I refuse to walk on thin ice all the time and if I can’t be myself and express my thoughts, then I guess I don’t need them as friends.  It’s sad that they’d let something so little come between us.

 

Christians don’t even bother with forgiveness any more…… sad!
