Hey all,
Wanna thank Cheryl and Elliott Hong for the kind words about my recent posts.
So Peres and Abbas both accepted the Pope's invitation to visit him at the Vatican. I'm sure there's a reason for the
specific interpretation of the following verse w/regards to the Israeli president's last name--Peres:
And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. Daniel 5:25-28
Names throughout the Bible mean something. One of the promises to the churches in Revelation by Jesus is:
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna,
and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written,
which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. Revelation 2:17
So
that begs the question--are all or some of our names bad? Why is a "new
name" a good thing or a reward? Peres seems to consistently be willing
to divide Jerusalem whereas Netanyahu seems to hold his position a
little more firmly. Not saying that Netanyahu is perfect, but he does
seem to know Bible prophecy more than Peres. The fact that both Peres
and Abbas were invited to the Vatican could be important in the end
times
scheme of things. The world is so blind to what's happening and that
hurts, but redemption and all people knowing Christ for who He is, King
of Kings, is close.
