thanks for your correction on the story that the Pope gave his approval to RFID chips in humans.

You report that this story was a hoax, a satire.  Satire is often so subtle that we can slip into thinking it is true.

Maybe later the Pope will give approval for the chip, but it's important to keep our facts as straight as we can.

We hear so much malarky in the press and on the tube and internet that it takes everything we've got to discern.

We have to really work at getting the truth, and pray that Holy Spirit will aid us in this!

Pastor JD Farag of Calvary Chapel Kaneohe, whose weekly updates many of us watch, reminds us this week

of another subtle way in which our thoughts are influenced by what is on the media.  He said that Fox News has been

subtly indicating preference for the Palestinians over the Israelis in the last few weeks and perhaps months.  This shows

up in many "stories" put out by a variety of presenters on Fox, Pastor Farag states.  I have not noticed this yet, but I

watch TV only a little bit recently.  I'll look for it when I watch Fox and try to discern if it is true.
