Bro. Gino:

Thanks for your comments, questions, etc.  Hope to do a post on the Masoretic Text.

Just remember, the KJV Bible is 98.2% accurate.  The areas where there is apparent errors are not going to change the overall message.

This figure is based on computer analysis of the Biblical languages.  The minute 1.8% has not changed in any way the message content, truth, or message of God to humanity.

Be thankful that over the 3,500 years of recorded Biblical history, God has saw fit to keep it free of man's messing around with it, and I am speaking of those that were not so dedicated to preserving the truth.  The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls were the confirmation evidence of the detailed precise accuracy of men called of God to preserve the text.  The scroll of Isaiah that is on display at the Shrine of the Book, in Jerusalem.  It resembles a Hershey "Kiss" if you are not familiar with it.  My sources tell me there are only 2 or 3 minor discrepancies, that are of no account.

Academic schools of higher criticism are trained to be critics rather than to believe in a Creator that loves His creation.  There is nothing wrong with being a Ruckmanite as far as I can see.  He holds to the full inspiration of the 1611 KJV.  I don't have a Ruckmanite Bible.  I will be doing a series of posts on the explanation of "Dispensationalism".  Too many people do not understand it or understand how God has dealt with man over six thousand years.  Too many are willing to attack it, sling mud about it, but it is the only way that one can fully understand the whole Bible.  Think about it, the Dispensational approach of understanding the Bible forces people to believe the Word of God is just that or reject it and believe their own lies about the Bible.  When you take the covenant/reformed approach and can make the Bible say whatever you want it to, then who is God?  They are saying that everyone can interpret the Bible to please their own desire.  This is precisely what Lucifer would want man to believe.

The 'conservative' theologian says the Bible is the Word of God.

The 'liberal' theologian says the Bible contains the Word of God.  (But who determines just what portion is the Word of God and what portion is not of God.).

Those two statements are self-indicting, to say the least, as to how we answer those we are called to shepherd.  For fifty-three years I have believed that I would be held to a higher standard God has established for His shepherds.  That awareness has served as my plumb line.

Just be mindful, our KJVB is 98.2% accurate, by modern-day computer analysis.  I'll share more on this as time permits.

God bless,

Pastor Bob
