"""Diamonds and Nuggets of the Bible -2"""

All:

In a quick review, last time I began with an example of a truth hidden in the Bible, which is solid confirmation of the message of Proverb 25:2:  "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter."  There is more in the Bible than what most of us thought, and as this study reveals.

In this series of posts we are focusing upon a hidden Gospel message contained within the Biblical term "mystery"; and I noted that the word "mystery" is found 22 times in the Bible; and its "plural" form occurs 5 times.  This is equal to the five final forms of specific letters that signal the end of a sentence or paragraph.

Mystery        = 22 occurrences / the same number of letters in the Hebrew alphabet.
Mysteries     =   5 occurrences / the same number of letters with a final form.

There is a hidden relationship held in the sequential occurrences pattern of the Hebrew letters contained in the occurrences of the word "mystery".  Each letter holds the meaning, idea or the theme of that particular letter and the passage it is contained in or located.

In Part 1 we dealt with the first three occurrences where the word "mystery" is found.  I showed how the first three letters of the Hebrew alphabet correlate with each of the three occasions where we find the word "mystery".  The first three Hebrew letters of the alphabet are:  "aleph", "beit", and "gimel"In part 2, here, we will be looking at the next twelve occurrences of the word "mystery" and their corresponding Hebrew letters and its hidden meaning.  This is one of many 'concealed things' spoken of by Proverbs 25:2.

The 4th occurrence of the word "mystery" is found in 1 Corinthians 2:6-8:  "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto glory."  -(1 Corinthians 2:7).

The 4th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "dalet", which means "door", "way", "path", among a few others.  In the context of the passage, we learn that Christ Jesus is the "door" to salvation and that it was planned before the beginning of the world and to eternity.

The 5th occurrence of the word "mystery" is found in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52:  "Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

The 5th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "hey", which means "breathe of God".  The inference here is to the mystery of the Rapture.  God spoke life into existence and the breathe of God, the Holy Spirit will snatch away from the world of sin, the believer who has placed his/her total trust in the Lord Christ Jesus.

The 6th occurrence of the word "mystery" is found in Ephesians 1:7-12: "Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: that in the dispensation of the fulness of time he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are in earth; even in him."

The 6th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "vav" and it means "completion" and "redemption".  In reading the passage you can see the text conveys the meaning of the letter in God's goal in a brief summary.

The 7th occurrence of the word "mystery" is found in Ephesians 3:1-3: "If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward.  How that by revelation he made known to me the mystery: as I wrote afore in few words."

The 7th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "zayen" which means "focal point of sustenance and struggle".  This is the theme of the passage of making known the Gospel of Christ.

The 8th occurrence of the word "mystery" is found in in Ephesians 3:4-7:  "Whereby when yu read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.  That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power."

The 8th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "chet", which is the letter for "transcendence", life, and grace".  The letter renders perfectly the meaning of the passage.

The 9th occurrence of the word "mystery" is found in Ephesiasn 3:8-11:  "Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is the grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.  And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things in Jesus Christ":

The 9th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "tet" which means "serpent" or "objective good".  The letter meaning is the theme of the passage of what God intended for all humanity but was lost in the fall and seduction by the serpent.

The 10th occurrence of the word "mystery" is found in Ephesians 5:22-33.  Here is verse 32-33, "This is a great mystery: but I spoke concerning Christ and the church.  Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even to himself; and the wife see that she is reverence her husband."

The 10th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "yod"It is the letter for "creation" and the "metaphysical".  This speaks to the creation of the church, which is metaphysical, it is not a building or a denomination.  It speaks to the mystical aspect of Christ's church.  The real church is intangible to the world and those that fight against it.

Ephesians is the Epistle for which we find the most occurrences of the word "mystery".  It occurs six times in the letter to the Ephesian church.

The 11th occurrence of the word "mystery" is found in Ephesians 6:10-20.  Verse 19 sums up the meaning:  "And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the Gospel.  For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak".

The 11th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "kaf" which means "crowning achievement".  This is precisely the theme we find in this passage, making known the mystery of the Gospel.

The 12th and 13th occurrence of the word "mystery" is found in Colossians 1:25-28:  "Whereas I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God; even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: whom we preach, warning every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus."

The 12th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "lamed", which is the letter for "teaching" and "learning".  The 13th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "mem", which is the letter for "revealed" and "concealed" or "water".  When you examine the passage it becomes clear that the Hebrew letters corresponds to the occurrence of the word "mystery" as well contains the theme of the letter as well.  The Bible is its own best interpreter.

The 14th occurrence of the word "mystery" will be found in Colossians 2:2.  "That their hearts might be comforted being knit together in love and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God and of the Father, and of Christ;"

The 14th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is the letter "nun", which represents "faithfulness, soul, and emergence"  In close examination we find the theme relates to the infinite knowledge of God Incarnate in Christ Jesus.

The 15th occurrence of the word "mystery" is found in Colossians 4:3, "Withal praying all for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak."

The 15th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "samech".  It means "support" and "divine presence".  The letter's meaning is embedded within the passage context as you can begin to discern.

I should note that the spelling of Hebrew letters will often vary, depending upon the various Hebrew styles employed.  I have seen many variations of the spelling, and this is related to changeable factors, as Hebrew does not itself, have vowels, like in English.  The insertion of English vowels are influenced by such things as gutterals, and use of long and short vowels inserted.

The study in the use of the word "mystery" is an excellent example to confirm and validate the message of Proverbs 25:2.  In this series, I should be able to round this up in one more post.  I am never quite sure as to whether people appreciate this kind of teaching.  This is an example of what I refer to as "Diamonds and Nuggets" of the Bible. Theses kinds of gems such as the study of the word "mystery" reveal the signature and finger prints of an Intelligent Being, of such infinite intelligence and wisdom as to preclude any possibility that it was all originated by a rabbi, or collection of rabbis.

Keep looking up!

God bless
