"What do the heavenly angels shout every time a sinner gets saved?"

Hello, John and Doves,

What do the heavenly angels shout every time a sinner gets saved?

To answer that, let us look at what Rabbi Shaul, of Brit Chadashah fame, said to his protégé, Timothy.

It is written,

          The Lord’s Grace to Paul

12I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. 13Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

15Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. 16But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. 17Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Timothy 1:12-17  NIV

Now, if Yeshua’s raison d'être was to save sinners, then we see that he went about it determinedly.

It is written,

          4The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue,

to know the word that sustains the weary.

He wakens me morning by morning,

wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.

5The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears;

I have not been rebellious,

I have not turned away.

6I offered my back to those who beat me,

my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard;

I did not hide my face

from mocking and spitting.

7Because the Sovereign Lord helps me,

I will not be disgraced.

Therefore have I set my face like flint,

and I know I will not be put to shame.

8He who vindicates me is near.

Who then will bring charges against me?

Let us face each other!

Who is my accuser?

Let him confront me!

9It is the Sovereign Lord who helps me.

Who will condemn me?

They will all wear out like a garment;

the moths will eat them up.

Isaiah 50:4-9  NIV

Now, verse 9 ties in nicely with Romans 8, where we read,

          The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

Romans 8:11  NLT

And again, we read,

          34 Who is there to bring a judgment of harsha'ah (condemnation, to condemn to Onesh Gehinnom, cf. Ro 8:1)? It is Moshiach Yehoshua who died, rather was kam litechiyah (raised to resurrection), who also is at LIMIN HASHEM (the right hand of G-d-- TEHILLIM 110:1), who also intercedes on our behalf (see Ro 8:26-27).

Orthodox Jewish Bible  Romans 8:34

So, “What do the heavenly angels shout every time a sinner gets saved?”

Goal!

For it is written,

          Parable of the Lost Coin

8“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coinsa and loses one. Won’t she light a lamp and sweep the entire house and search carefully until she finds it? 9And when she finds it, she will call in her friends and neighbors and say, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost coin.’ 10In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.”

Luke 15:8-10  NLT

~Blessings,
