"Dispensationalism is neither here nor there."

Hello, John and Doves,

Dispensationalism is neither here nor there.

That’s because dispensationalism is sectarianism, thinly disguised.

Two things to say have I.

Fit the first:

It is written,

21Haven’t you heard? Don’t you understand?

Are you deaf to the words of God—

the words he gave before the world began?

Are you so ignorant?

22God sits above the circle of the earth.

The people below seem like grasshoppers to him!

He spreads out the heavens like a curtain

and makes his tent from them.

23He judges the great people of the world

and brings them all to nothing.

24They hardly get started, barely taking root,

when he blows on them and they wither.

The wind carries them off like chaff.

25“To whom will you compare me?

Who is my equal?” asks the Holy One.

26Look up into the heavens.

Who created all the stars?

He brings them out like an army, one after another,

calling each by its name.

Because of his great power and incomparable strength,

not a single one is missing.

27O Jacob, how can you say the Lord does not see your troubles?

O Israel, how can you say God ignores your rights?

28Have you never heard?

Have you never understood?

The Lord is the everlasting God,

the Creator of all the earth.

He never grows weak or weary.

No one can measure the depths of his understanding.

29He gives power to the weak

and strength to the powerless.

30Even youths will become weak and tired,

and young men will fall in exhaustion.

31But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.

They will soar high on wings like eagles.

They will run and not grow weary.

They will walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:21-31  NLT

Fit the second:

Again, it is written,

          The Wisdom of God

18The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. 19As the Scriptures say,

I will destroy the wisdom of the wise

and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.Isaiah 29:14

20So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world’s brilliant debaters? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish. 21Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe. 22It is foolish to the Jews, who ask for signs from heaven. And it is foolish to the Greeks, who seek human wisdom. 23So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense.

24But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles,f Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength.

26Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthyg when God called you. 27Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. 28God chose things despised by the world,h things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. 29As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.

30God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin. 31Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.”Jeremiah 9:24

1 Corinthians 1:20-31  NLT

Conclusion:

Yeshua HaMashiach will gather all the saved of all generations into one fold—made up of those who lived and died before the Resurrection, and those who lived afterward.

It is written,

I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.

John 10:16  NIV

At that time, all talk of dispensationalism will be mere sensationalism—lies and exaggeration.

It is written,

          A psalm of David.

1Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord?

Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?

2Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right,

speaking the truth from sincere hearts.

3Those who refuse to gossip

or harm their neighbors

or speak evil of their friends.

4Those who despise flagrant sinners,

and honor the faithful followers of the Lord,

and keep their promises even when it hurts.

5Those who lend money without charging interest,

and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent.

Such people will stand firm forever.

Psalm 15  [Yeshua HaMashiach is scheduled to return in 2015, imho.]

At that time, all dispensationalists will be shepherded through a Wonkavision studio.  As those in the know ken, Wonkavision is really a wonky transporter.  Would you rather be reduced in size or reduced by a number of limbs?

No, just joking on the square wit’ y’all.  Wonkavision will just reduce you in size (and mass) by about two orders of magnitude [to ~1/100 of your original size and mass].

Then, all them dispensationalists [1 Corinthians 1:10-17], having experienced Wonkavision first-hand, will be given their own mansion, only each one will be the size of a giant dollhouse.

Such will be the fate of those who discount God’s specific and inclusive Love.  He loves each one of us individually and absolutely equally.

Thus is it written,

The Magnificat: Mary’s Song of Praise

46Mary responded,

“Oh, how my soul praises the Lord.

47How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!

48For he took notice of his lowly servant girl,

and from now on all generations will call me blessed.

49For the Mighty One is holy,

and he has done great things for me.

50He shows mercy from generation to generation

to all who fear him.

51His mighty arm has done tremendous things!

He has scattered the proud and haughty ones.

52He has brought down princes from their thrones

and exalted the humble.

53He has filled the hungry with good things

and sent the rich away with empty hands.

54He has helped his servant Israel

and remembered to be merciful.

55For he made this promise to our ancestors,

to Abraham and his children forever.”

Luke 1:46-55  NLT
