The Long Wait Ends in Israel

Some heart-touching reunions took place in Israel last week when 40 members of the Bnei Menashe ‹ considered a ³Lost Tribe² community living in the Northeastern Indian state of Manipur ‹ arrived in Israel.

These long-separated members of the House of Israel are the first in almost seven years to make ³Aliyah,² or the return to Israel through emigration.

Currently, more than 2,200 members of the Bnei Menashe community, which identifies itself as descending from the lost tribe of Menashe (Manasseh), live in Israel. The Olmert government froze the Aliyah back in 2007, and it was only restarted in 2012. This left many families among the Bnei Menashe divided between India and Israel.

Witnesses described an incredibly moving scene at Ben-Gurion Airport as many families were reunited after seven years of separation.

jvmi.convio.net/16BAEDE7.jpgAn additional 200 members of the Bnei Menashe tribe are scheduled to make Aliyah to Israel in the coming months. And itıs very possible that some of these individuals will have previously received help, ministry, and the good news of Yeshua through an outreach of Jewish Voice Ministries.

Thatıs why your gifts of support are so important. When a Believer making Aliyah enters Israel, the Good News is spread even further to the Jewish People by the Jewish People! When you partner with Jewish Voice, youıre a vital part of sharing the Good News, and  delivering medical, humanitarian, and spiritual aid to Lost Tribes communities.

Please consider sharing an urgently needed gift of support for this important work today by clicking on the ³Donate² button to your right. Thank you!

To the Jew first and also to the Nations,
